hi what is good for sp. motul , castrol or mobil?

if the SP you are talking about is NSR150SP.. it uses 2T not 4T.. Motul or Agip is good for me.. =)

SPs do use 4T, for the gearbox. Using Motul 300V for my 4T and Motul 710 for 2T.

no need to replenish ,just need to change every 3000km

pls try not to mislead as ts might be new to sp...

 

2t is for the compartment under the rider's seat with the black cap (screwed)

 

for ur gearbox.. its recommended tat u use gear oil... though other eo (4t) can be also used..

but it is juz staying in ur gearbox to lubricates.. doesnt get into ur engine..

so paying too much for other eo might not be feasible if u dun need...

 

n changing of engine oil/gear oil is usually @ 5000km/ 3mths+ which ever comes first..

if u're feeling rich, den u can go ahead n change at 3000km or if u always play alot with ur sp... den prepare more money for more maintenance...

 

coz its a 2stroke bike.. the only things tat lubricates is the 2t.. so recommendation of good 2t to top up every time is advisable....

u can try use motul transoil 4t for sp.....

For 2 Stri=oke bike several mech recommend gear oil instead of engine oil.
