Congrates, superb choice. What was yourlast bike?

No worries, italian or japanese, they are still fantastic machines that bring enjoyment and need care.

At least is not the other Italian brethen, which requires scheduled $$$ timing belt replacement.Honda and aprilia still stick to the reliable metal chain.

Pls stay with the original exhaust for a while, because the V4 rumble is sweetly tuned out of Miguel Galuzzi's deisgn.

We are all learning togather, share your expiriences too, man!

With this much success, it makes you wonder why Aprilia isn't more popular.

Better for us with discerning taste!

And i have to say, the local support for my Aprilia has been nothing short of EXCELLENT.

Very, very helpful and passionate about what they do.

Contrary to what most people think or say about them.

JGmini, you are super right.

When just got my bike, the check engine light illuminates. Mah Motor's mech hook-up the handheld scan tool and within minutes, trouble-shooted a open connection of the coolant temp sensor. He pry the lower fairing and snap back the connector.quick and clean.

The RSV4 has some real potential that Max seems consistent in getting podium finishes.Leon is coming up with a recent 2nd place finish.A young talent crucial to show that the rsv4 is not one man (Max) bike.

i'm happy for a 2nd time wsbk participation, the machine is showing good results, is a treat that we can savour upon a tip of the ice-berg of such v4performace in daily riding.but your license at risk...always.

To all, ride safe in the wet cos the rain always seems to come when you go to/fro work.

unfortunately not everyone received the same treatment if not there will be more sales of rsv4.

Yes, in the past, that may have been true. But things are different now.

Give them a try n see for yourself.

I was worried too, but I hve been pleasantly surprised so far.

very true bro. same sentiments. anyone knows how is there any way we can bypass them to buy the bike? import direct from overseas? pay extra taxes of 12% and what other proceedures?

Funny how I've experienced the exact opposite. I bought a brand new bike from the "other" Italian prestigious brand n had such a bad experience that I sold it after having owned it for 3 months.

I don't care how desirable their bikes are and how much of a following the bikes n the local agent have, I will never step into their showroom again after the worst post-sales experience I've had with them.

The local aprilia agent on the other hand have been nothing but helpful, polite, accomodating. I have zero regrets about going with them. Not only that, the bike is miles ahead of my previous "other" Italian bike.

You guys dunno what you're missing. The bike is out of this world.

Anyway, I've been on both sides of the fence. I've bought brand new bikes

from both local agents and so I can properly and rightfully compare the pre-sales and post-sales experience from both. They are right on the money.

hi bro. dun say i dunno what ive been missing. im bounded by this country stupid licence system. ive still have 2 years to go before i can ride this bike. its been in my shopping list since the bike came into my knowledge about 1 year plus ago.

and to be frank, yes uve been the both sides of fence. perhaps the sales personal u have been liasing with at aprilia agent must have been either eugene or gabriel.

i have a poor experience there with the rs125 i bought from them. perhaps thats how they compare customers. if not for the licence thing, i could have bought the rsv4 as well. and i have the strong feeling if i were to get the rsv4 instead of the rs125, my treatment will be the same as urs. no doubt.

as for the other shop u are talking about, im on the same sentiments. the bikes is way behind rsv4 in terms of performance and much more expensive then rsv4. but still, i will get the other bike as well when i reach class 2. that bike will be my transport bike, and i will put a black box and 2 side box behind. LOL. because it only deserves to be treated this way.

but dude, check out the bmw. freaking sexy!

Posted

Sorry to hear about your experience at the aprilia agent.

For what it's worth, at least u get good service for the rsv4 but at the other Italian bike agent, u get dissatisfactory service no matter what bike u buy.

So I guess u can decide which style suits u best :)

And hang in there with the licenses, man. We all did our time too!

I did consider the BMW but call me shallow but the I-4 engine doesn't really turn me on. Plus, when u consider that the rsv4 is so much more exotic for so much less money, it's a no brainer lah.

Posted

hahaha ya! but im playing with fire! sian. left 0 points with 1 month to go. gonna take cab or public transport for a month before i can kiss rsv4 bye bye and wait another 3-4 years. too much parking fines! i hate all this ppl. they literally camp there to wait for me to get off the bike and summon ticket straight away.

apparently, i have a feeling im being mistreated.! a italian bike cannot be used as a courier bike in cbd ah? haha. the rxk and kup chais in the same road, did not have fines at all! WTF!! what is this!!

ok pardon me. im being moody. yup true. rsv4 is every penny for its power. meet up soon for coffee. i really wanna know more about this bike!

I do totally agree with u on the other italian brand is pretty bad on aftersales too!!!!!!!!!

hi bro ajk. we all on the same side. apparently they view customer on dress sense and outlook when u first reach the shop. well, a rich man could wear berms and slippers. and the next moment u going to lose a potential customer. i have a few friends who already disgusted by before sales attitude, changed to other bikes instead.

on the other side, for those riding the other italian brand. do visit racewerkz superbike centre at ubi. managed by dhiraj, and henry ( the only guy i feel worthy to touch a D**. he left there to start at ubi, so self explanatory. ) they should fare better at servicing and parts support.

cheers!

thanks. mine is just the aftersales service that i tout can be better. as the the aprilia the service did not get me beyond viewing at showroom. tragic and sadly else definitely will try aprilia. then again, the resales is sort of dictated by the agent and as i was told it's really quite poor. anyway too many buts...hahahaaa....

hennry is good.

ok....action....anyone interested in my streetfighter??? seriously....
