Hello!! Any RSV4 owners....?

Yes one here!

Here is a service manual which i stumble upon from the web, sad to say in singapore, we don't have the luxury of garage space to wrench our bikes (like even we are not able to finish fixing the bike we can leave it there...till we are in the "mood" again) but this manual will still be a good reading material to past time still.

Sorry i do it next time i've waited some time and the file upload manager is not responding to my request.....................................................................

Swapped from YTZ10S (OEM) to YTZ14S by Yuasa.

Was told that there is a improvement of battery capacity/Cold crank Amp but with the trade-of having a heavier and bigger battery therefore had to remove battery tongue that formerly holds down the OEM piece.

Not to bad the rider's seat still keeps the new battery in place neatly...

nevertheless i was disappointed with the battery's lifespan.formerly owned duc last longer though, never give up on me >2 years...inspite of aftermarket alarm installation still..

Bro.. I thot it was supposed to be YTZ 12 S ?? How much u got ur 14 for?

Btw, Rsv4 requires lots of power to generate the monster.. However, it's still fantastic apart from that..

Congratulations! enjoy your, uniquely engineered, ride. The v4 growl usually leave a after taste of wanting more, addictive. at the same time, your license will be constantly at risk for "gan tong", the day you get your keys. You've been warned.

Enough said, write a personal review soon...

145SGD.you sure right about the monster's thirst for power. The EMS breaks from tradition, now that it comes with dual electronic throttle valves, is taxing on the battery to crank start.

i felt silly now that ,i even attempt to push start the bike in my car-park when the batt is low, will be juiceless to even drive open the throttle valves for the first air intake for combusion........That's why whenever you crank start the bike the e-throttle blips slightly automatically, then the engine came to live.....

Main diff between Factory and R model are mainly the Ohlins suspension, damper, Forge rims, carbon fiber parts and adjustable engine mounting.

As for the Ohlins alot of factory owners are still changing the ohlins to TTX 36 rear shocks and the front ohlins fork springs to a better ohlins spring.

BTW I'm also ordering Carbon Fiber parts for my R model. Will be sampling and testing the quality of the product. Will be starting with the rear hugger carbon fiber. You can choose between matt or high gloss CF parts. I'll post picture once they are in. IF the quality is good, you guys can order the CF parts from me too. Will post picture when they are on my bike!!

Haha! I like the part when u say "lets tear the ducatis apart!" Tervin's advice is exactly right! But most imptly shuld be our throttle control..

Yup.. As in the ohlins, diff in stock HP, fuel jetting etc.? I dun think it makes much diff unless u're a hardcore track goer, every minor parts plays a role..
