[Trip Report] Ride up to Kuala Lumpur, 9th April 2010

Hey guys, I had this crazy urge to go up to KL for quite a while now, no idea why KL or what there is there. The main idea, is ride, for a long long distance. haa, and I did manage to do it yesterday thankfully. Everything went smoothly and fine (: Had a great ride, great weather, fantastic ride.

 

Started ride at 6.30am

Reached back HOME at 7.30pm

 

Distance Covered: 700+km

 

My ride: CBR150

 

Number of people: ME ONLY (:

The distance I had to ride back, from the place I stopped to have lunch

Had a lovely time riding through the north south, beautiful views of the hills and greenery and plantations.

 

Took a picture of the place I stopped for prayers too (:

Unfortunately the last 60km from Tuas Checkpoint it poured heavily to almost one point of time where I had near to very bad visibility.

 

Haha, luckily I was armed well, and had a shower cap for my side bag with 2 or 3 raincoats worn to protect my backpack too and cover me fully from the strong winds!!

 

Hehe, went quite smooth and it was great riding through the rain. LOVED when I rode out of the rain and you sense the really great cooling feeling on you and you throttling up crazily

When I entered Malaysia, via Tuas checkpoint, I topped up my tank to full!

 

And after that I made only 1 fuel stop and that was when my tank was half only!

 

Great fuel consumption (:

So made one stop all the way to Kuala Lumpur to fuel up again to full and have a drink (:

actually FC of cbr150 is very good cause bike is thin , light , aerodynamic, u urself thin, using nonvelocity carburator and DOHC and 4 valves system

 

I presume it can deliver 1 liter for 58km at speed constant 100km/h
