well, its a good deal but the x1r first hand or secong hand? cos my fren bought his x1r at 1000 then top up 600 for a pipe.. so the different is alot, u better check with him .. 800 + pipe, does it include insurance? and all the other hidden sums.. better to check with him 800 on the road?

if its real, i might get it too.. cheap cheap..

Let's not forget that what's stated is just downpayment. Nowadays you could even get a bike without downpayment.. So i suggest that you go down and ask about the total bike price inclusive of insurance, road tax, and even paperwork.. Or just ask how much you will need to pay monthly for how long then you multiply it yourself and calculate the difference if you bought at it at another shop with no promotion..

So many riders have been cheated by salesman because they know many are impulse buyers.. Buy now regret later but too late.. Especially those who get an expensive 2nd hand 1000cc bike and downpayment 2000bucks just to cover the insurance with 6 years instalment. Where the interest itself could add up with you buying a first hand bike..

Please be carefull on buying a bike, no point if you end up with no cash in the end then your bike gets taken away and more penalty will be given to you.. Money doesn't grow on tree unless you have a rich dad..

this is for only first hand..

the machine price for the yamaha spark is $3400, x1-R: $3600 and the r15: $5600..

the downpayment include the insurance..

the salesman also listed down everything that he quoted us.. we feel that he can be trusted from the way he speak.. he did not try to hide from us anything and he answered us each and every of our question without hesitation..

the admin ask my friend to sign agreement & they explain clearly to him..

you all may go down and take a look to assure everything lor..

:thumb: for the service!

yes..

this are the thing the sales man listed down for my friend who brought his yamaha sprak 135 installment.

machine price: $3400

COE: $1253

My friend insurance was about $500+

I.U: $150

Reg Fee: $80

Admin Fee: $200

Yoshimura: $850

the rest of the pipe price will be put inside the installment lor. i think $800 for a downpayment with pipe is very reasonable.

Whatever downpayment you may want to make is up to you.. If you wish to pay cash or even 2k is still reasonable if the bike is cheap. Let's say the bike will cost $6533 otr will everything inclusive insurance and whatever ****..

And you decide to take 4 years to pay.. Minus 800 from the downpayment is 5733 multiply by 5% if i am not wrong for a 2b bike.. That answer multiply by 4 (years) $1146.60 will be the interest that you will be paying. Monthly payment of $163.80.

Senario 2.. Downpayment 2k.. Interest will be at 906.60 for 4 years.. End up paying monthly 129.60 for 4 years.. So which do you prefer?

With just an extra of $1200 you get to pay lesser a month and save on interest of $240 which could come in handy some day..

but some people can't affort that kind of downpayment so maybe they want to make sure people who wants to buy the bike can pay a lower downpayment. the dowpayment is just a sum of money to see how much/per month you be paying.. the main point is up to the customers to choose whether they want to rise the downpayment or stay with the downpayment.

bro, even if they got admin fee or whatever.. i am just commenting about their downpayment.. i don't see why you must compare price when i am talking about the downpayment which to bring out the bike with the pipe in.. i think they are giving resonable downpayment which some people can only affort with.. & i do trust their after sales service.. some of my friends went there to service their sp & they commented that the service is very good.. that's a example a shop should do.. like some people, they are willing to spend money if the service is good.. :)

bro, you sure anot? $4900 OTR? which bike shop you go? your insurance so cheap har? $167? where you get this insurance? i saw the machine with my friend with our own eye which the salesman showed us, for yamaha spark already is $3400. i went with my friend to take his spark 135 & to see how they do things.. they gave

1: helmet

2: rain coat

3: box

4: the yoshimura tri over build on.

and the downpayment i refering is the price everyone may affort taking out the bike.. any choice of the GRP or yoshimura pipe, taking to consideration is a good price for a downpayment.. some bike shop's will ask you to pay dowpayment & the pipe price before you can get the bike out.

And i don't mind the good after service after buying from them. is very good.. they answer every question we asked.. i can say that the after service is the most important things they should do which will make the customer happy.

Chill people... what the TS is saying that the bikeshop is good because they offer low downpayment so that young riders can still afford to ride the bike even if they don't have enough cash in hand. That's the selling point, not the pricing of the bike.

Some people don't mind higher cost so long as they can take out the bike fast. Some people don't mind higher downpayment so long as the price is cheap. Each to his own leh...

to ride is bliss

i think he's trying to say that $4900 is the machine price with all the necessary fees but excluding insurance. anyway insurance cant be compared, have to see rider's age and riding experience. maybe his fren's bike cheaper also due to cheaper insurance, higher downpayment or lower interest rate bah

and since you are focusing on new riders without much cash, why burden longer and larger loan with yoshi pipe :dot:

if you dont have enough cash to d/p, i'd rather you push out a 2nd hand bike.

it'd be more worth while and financially advisable as compared to a 1st hand.

i thot bp min d/p for a spark/x1-r is $700?

Regards,

kifakw

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car

and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall,

torque is how far you take the wall with you.

bro, you got ask them how much or not? I think they are at least steady to tell you b4 you sign. Some bike shops advertise or tell you no EARLY SETTLEMENT FEES, but when want to full settle that time, all their patterns come out!!!
