What about "Transfer of vehicle ownership"?

no

How does road tax document look like?

Is it the round label attached to the bike?

yes

So...license in the wallet, road tax hang on bike.

Insurance document is not really necessary as they can check?

To save the hastle of waiting and asking them to check, it would be wise the bring the documents along....Its not that heavy to bring anyway.

Juz compile the documents and store it in a zipper bag those A6 or b6 size. Chuck it under the seat, and you are all done.

Else, it will be longer waiting time as they need to check if the documents said are valid. Thats juz my 1 cent.

better to bring along your IC too. if there is a police road block, they would ask for both your license and IC.

I understand the hassle of wasting time checking.

But...the minimum documents needed to carry with you to avoid any major problems with the authorities is IC, license and the road tax hanging on the bike rite?

and a photocopy of your insurance certificate. that is very important. just put it inside your wallet. sometimes TP would check for you. if the TP isin't a good guy, then you would have to go all the way to TP HQ in ubi and show it to them.

I think the sequence is a bit wrong.

Must have on person: NRIC & Driving Licence

Easy to have on the bike, under the seat or otherwise: Copies of Insurances, Road tax, after market exhaust letter.

i only carry licence and insurance, plus aftermarket exhaust documents. road tax, i simply leave it at home.

There is no requirement in Singapore law to carry your NRIC, but it does help to prove your identity and address - which is what the police would look for if they are looking for someone.

If you have someone at home who can easily retrieve your NRIC, then you might want to leave your NRIC at home. The risk and inconvenience to you from being temporarily detained is likely to be less than the risk and inconvenience of dealing with a lost NRIC as well as the resulting $100 or $300.

He who hesitates is lost!

never bring, he also can't charge you. cause you are not committing any offense.
