Looking to take in JB, usual suspects are the 3 schools, FRAS, Elite and Johor.

Mind was kinda set on FRAS but my research could be limited. Any comments on the 3 schools or things to take note of?

More research also points me to getting a FAA / CASA PPL ; that requires time to be spent in the respective country. Anybody did that?

Hi, if you can take leave off your work, or school, I will gladly recommend flying schools in US, Arizona. 1month is all you need, and cost 7200USD for the whole training, not including checkrides, lodging and meals though. And you are getting FAA issued license. I'm currently halfway thru my training, will be back end of Jan. If you are interested, pm me for more info...

P.s. I just soloed yesterday!!!! Woohoo...

do you have more info on this flight sch in USA?

i might have some time to fit it in..

noob qn: what is the diff betwn FAA issued and the PPL from msia?

Well guys, over the years, I'm always wanted to be a commercial pilot.

Went to SQ interview once but never make it 2nd interview.

Goggle other airline for cadet pilot, only available for their own nationalities.

Well that was 10years ago, sad to say I'm already 43yrs now, its pretty hard to chase after my dream job at this age.

If given a 2nd chance I would love to get my PPL in JB and obtain CPL eventually.

For those experience pilots here, any advice or past experience that you heard the guys in their early forties still can be a commercial pilot?

Looking for buddy to take up PPL course in JB, any keen parties, do PM me ya...
