Hi, i got this problem,

is like, whenever i leave my bike for like more then 6 hours. it tends to "overflow" if thats what its called. but if i leave my bike there for a while, i kick once start alr.

then everytime. i must kick start with off engine alot of times. then on my bike then can start.

issit normal for a kr 150?

cos i own an sp and i got a simliar problem. my mech says dat the pin dats is suppose to close the fuel does not do so properly. its a wear and tear thing. replacing the pin will cost money so he say wiser to just off the fuel valve everytime u leave the bike for long periods of time. if keep overflow, u are juz wasting ur petrol....

as siux said, there's a float inside the carb, which pushes a little needle that closes the fuel intake valve. if there's wear and tear or if dirt blocks the needle from closing, fuel will keep flowing and exit the overflow tube.

pic is upside down in the above.

replace/clean or just shut off the petrol like mentioned by the others.

No. If you do that, more petrol will go into your carb. Try to kickstart alot of times with the engine turned off, then you try to start.

Actually if your carb overflows, you should twist your throttle to the fullest while kicking start. but of course, OFF YOUR FUEL TAP first before doing so.

i am sorry that i don agree with that cos it will foul the plug.. i agree its the best way to force your bike to start cos holding fullest with fuel turn off will force all the fuel in the engine and carb to be suck out..forcing the plug to start. imo it should be only done if u are left with no choice.

the carb has the fuel stopper. but i think its not the stopper problem, its the gold colour hold that hold it.. there is a fuel seal (rubber) suppose to stop the fuel from entering your carb but when the seal is spoilt, the fuel will be leaking directly to the crank..causing the overflow.. its best to change the carb if u have the cash..or off the fuel 30 sec before you stop.

correct me if i am wrong.. just my $0.20

Or there is a little screw on the carb to drain the petrol.

i had the same problem for my kr recently. changed something in the carb and it doesnt overflow again. play safe and turn to "off" when parking for long hours.

guys anyone knows other reasons which will cause bike fc to be poor? I'm riding Sp and my carb already washed and all the needle and stuff inside replaced already. But the FC still very chui. Like 150kmper full tank w/o reserve.

can someone advise?

*condition of block,piston,ring,conrod.

*exhuast too many carbon

*riding style

*n many others stuff i am not very sure..
