Hi,

I am also concern about not getting used to the lack of power cause I hv been riding class 2 sport bikes as well. Today I found out from Regine (not sure of the spelling but it is the shop near/associated with Ah Boy) the top GIVI box with bracket cost $270. The 2GIVI side box (41 litres) with bracket will cost $1k.

Do let me know if you have more info to share. Thanks

If it's real givi bracket then not so bad. Some self made bracket looks like **** and spolit the whole looks of the bike. Think I'll go for the original one.

P.S think carefully if u want to switch. I use to ride 170+ HP bike now really got hard time getting used to diverson, especially now running in period .

I give up sport bike mainly for my 2 kids as I had a few near miss recently.Think it's time to enjoy riding rather than enjoy racing.

maybe I will consider the 1000cc street bike instead but will it be overkill since speed is no longer a prime consideration since switching from sport to street bike. I even consider SYM 200 scooter as it is cheap, has a lot of storage space but no power and I don't like the look. Japanese 400cc scooter is very expensive. Maybe I wait for you to sell me your bike when you really cannot tahan the lack of power : )

I actually compared the specs between this diversion and the FAZER6... Diversion has lesser power and is heavier, whereas FAZER is lighter and has more power. FAZER also cheaper.... so don't think anyone would want this yet.

Phase 1 update on the bike :

1) From 1 to 3K RPM, the bike got no power at all. You will only feel the pull from 4K RPM onwards.

2) The bike gets heated up very fast. Travelling at HW at abt 80 to 90 Km/h temp can go up to 90 degreed (evening time). My ex ZX10R used to be at only 78 degreed. Will change coolant type after run in.

3) Fuel consumption wise seem not bad ,after 88km travelled, fuel guage only drop 1 bar. Should be better after run-in and oil change.

That's all for the time being..... :)

Just a question. whats your running-in speed and the distance you need to cover?

Its not abt speed, its abt RMP. According ot the manual, first 1K km stay below 5.8K rpm and 1K to 1.6K km stay below 7K rpm. After that run in consider completed.

Phase 1.1 Update :

1) The 2 opening on the wind shield creates alot of wind drag noise. I put a piece of cloth to block it.

2) Don't expect any sporty note for the exhust. The engine noise is greater than it. ( Only after a few days of riding, the engine starts to get noise, but not loud.)

3) The original tires suck....needs long warm up time b4 it bites.

Sorry for the slow updateing as i travel short distance. May take some time to run in the bike...:cheeky:

yup got the bike already. Its my personal Black transformer. Got to find a decepticon sticker and put it on the front visor.

1546 km to go before going more than 6k rpm.. its going to be awhile.

You are right abt the heat but i guess it will go down after the run in and change of coolant.

Its a perfect sized bike for SG roads. Time to save up for the side panniers!:cheeky:

All is good!
