To the organisers,

Thank you for organising this ride.

Also, thanks to Bunny_Hui and the others (who I don't know) who helped bring us from Tuas SPC to GP..

Here is a video I uploaded in Youtube...

i was in front of her. don't know what happen coz i listen to my song on earphones. but kenny and some bro come over to help out. ultimately, it is fine as far as i notice.

from observation, i think is e engine fail to crank and die.. to whoever she is, please send the bike to check for plug, and check the voltage of the bike, maybe rectifier, batt or charging coil is failing... Ver S is a delicate bike, need to take extra care of it wear and tear parts. it is quite scary to die on the road, especially in M'sia where toll is VERY VERY costly. :(:dozed::pity:

For the electrical problem, can happen to any bike, just bad luck the lady Super4 breakdown after the durian makan. Frankly who will go and check the electrical system before the trip when the bike was running fine.

Personally I don't, my bike has been idling in the carpark for 4 days (driving mostly last week), I only check if it can fire up the night before the trip.

Following morning the engine cut off itself when I engage 1st gear at the car park. Suspecting it was the side stand switch I push the side stand against the switch with my leg and tried to start again many time without success. Some more I woke up late that day, and when I was giving up and push my bike back to the parking lot, I decided to give it one last try, miraculously it fire up back to life again. :cheeky:

You never know, I was booked last time, but I did not want to pay kopi money so they let me off, 1 year later I was stopped at the custom and ask to pay for the fine, RM150, for exceeding the speed limit.

Kana twice liow so now I have a GPS with all the 'hot spot' loaded in my GPS when driving in Msia.

ya.. normally i don't too.. but it will be useful to install Volt meter on the bike, so i will forsee any drop in voltage that might lead to problem in firing up the bike. if the electrical circuit is fine, and still cannot fire up.. likely is spark plug liao.

in general, for those who not sure, the voltage for super4 should be 12.6V +- but less than 14V (with headlight off) to ensure that the bike electrical circuit are working (like batt, rectifier, charging coil etc). i have experience and notice it was 9V+ once last year before riding and decide to stop riding for that day. arrange for toll after check, the charging coil is burn..

Even install a voltmeter but unlucky in the middle of the trip the rectifier or stator coil fail, also LL. Cost incurred to tow back and worst of all the mood spoil because you will be worried about your bike.

Better to take up a travel insurance, save you lots of headache and $$ should the vehicle break down all of a sudden. I need to check with Kenny how this travel insurance work should I travel oversea on my bike again. :)

Oic, so you the one in the brown leather jacket as I was admiring how your chain oiler work.

I did not go very fast just maintaining at the speed limit, except I slow down at the bend when they have the purposely inscribe line on the road to 80km/h, as my bike front wobble (time to change my tires liow), and I guess the speed camera was there, because once I clear that stretch and begin to accelerate, shortly I hit the road block.

it is funny how they stop ppl from road block using their "camera".. randomly i'll say.. :( coz normally travel > 140km/h but never stop by them before..

I have ever spotted them hiding in the drain with their camera or under the bridge, they will radio back to their members at the road block once you exceed the speed limit, I was caught twice, once on road block another on speed camera without road block.

They stop me at custom after a year and ask me to pay for fine of exceeding the speed limit, even I explain and tell them I have no cash, they directed me to the ATM. If I refuse to pay I will be detained at the police station and my NOK will have to bail me out. LL I go withdraw money from ATM to settle.

Hence you never know, after paying fine of total RM300 (2 offense when driving), I feel its not worth, rather save the $$.

Mostly they target at SG cars (my own analysis) and seldom on bike, because before I was driving, my average speed on bike is 140km/h (2nd link) weekly going back to my mother in law place in Saleng for more than a year.
