Fat Tires for TW200

Hi Guys,

 

I wish to change my front tire of my TW200 to a fat one. Anyone knows where can i get it done? I know that the front brake holder needs to be replace too, if i am not wrong.

It may or may not require fork mods.

 

Definitely possible - in Thailand there are some Phantom riders who put the fat back tyre on the front as well.

 

Question is legality here; structural mods like these are frowned on and its not as if you could swap out the front end yourself easily for annual inspection.

ACCORDING to the TW forum in USA. IT can be done.

 

BUT REALLY NOT CHEAP.

 

Basically u change the triple tree and some of the fork parts.

 

the items is from Japan. Just the triple tree cost 800 to 1.2K already

 

The rest of the parts heven't touch yet.
