Fine from Town Council

I park my bike at my aunt's place on last sat, have been parking at the same spot for the past 1.5yrs on and off... and stupidlity i got summon for once. I know the fine is about $100 and i know it is hard to appreal. Have anybody have successfully appreal before going to MP?

 

btw there is this rider who also always park at the same area with me, i think is becuse everything i visit my aunt in the even he have got back than LL no place to park so he might report to me to town council. Why i guess so is becuase recently i went to my aunt's place again and i realise that he change hiding place to park his bike. I took picture of his bike and intend to report him to town council too.

Yes indeed, these town councils can be very harsh on apron parking. Once the inspector comes, everyone will equally not like the $100 fine and find a new spot to hide.

 

Thing is, there are never enough bike parking lots in those "controlled" areas forcing people to park on the big, huge, empty aprons!

I did manage to appeal once for void deck parking..But so happens that it was after a major rain and it's at the void deck of the blk that i live..

 

Went to Q to see MP, end up MP gt something on then went off early thus i met his assistant..Told him that day heavy rain, bike was faulty when i reach home thus proceed to park under the blk cos up to change and come down rectify fault.

 

Guy told me to go get season parking for that month den fax it over to them and they will waive off the fine for me..

 

But do note that the fine will be tag to your nric which means even if u change bike and park at the void deck and get caught again anywhere, the fine will be $200 for 2nd offence..

well MC28 if i can buy season i will go buy.... this area is my area place. I always go over to give her child teach tution. I park at carpark alot of time... got put coupon also kena summon... fxxk the summon attendent... appeal alot of time doesnt help.. even took photos and send to them they still say this doesnt help...

 

haiz... i guess i will try my luck to appeal.. hopefully reduces or waive.

i wonder since i dun stay at my aunt place can i say that they summon wrongly... i have season parking at home so can i lie that i park at home on sat morning and i have no idea why i was summon by TC
