try davidsilverspares.uk or something.. i can't remember the exact url.. do a search!

good luck..:cheeky:

it's http://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk

if you are buying panniers from them, go for the american/canadian set. same boxes except additional reflector + badge shows interceptor instead of vfr. and price happens to be 275 pounds cheaper.

yes. it's a must to have the o2 sensor eliminator if you are going to use the pciii. the cheaper alternative to buying the o2 sensor is to pick up the resistors from sim lim sq.

hi bro..but how does tat work n wat should i do to get it done..thanx

Are you refering to the one that cost 175 pounds? That one comes with the bracket too? BTW, how long does it takes if they ship via UPS?

I guy i know who orders said it took abt 2~3 weeks... straight to your doorstep. Only thing is have to DIy nia.

Just make sure you have size 13 socket or spanner. Coz one pair of the screws on the VFR is that size. You don't want to "tiak ka liaos" then realise cannot remove 2 screws. :giddy:

Good advise guys! I have checked with them and they says that the colour of the 175 pounds one is slightly out. So cheaper. :cheeky: Of course I'll take it at this price lah... Slightly cheaper means few hundred dollars leh... :sian: Will be getting the box in approx 1.5 weeks time!

If I want something done, I must do it myself... despite our advancing country, we still get this level of service from reputable motor diams...:nono:

all colors will not be exactly the same unless they from the same batch of printing/spraying. Even the OEM panniers you buy now may not match a 2~3 year old VFR color. Its all about how far out the color is to the naked eye. sweez in the morning may not mean right in artificial color (white light/street yellow lights)

hehe learned some secrets from my production spray paint side... haha

Have not been coming in to this forum since i last sold my VFR. However, if you guys are looking at side panniers.....I've seen a set and maybe more at 2nd level, Looi's Motor. It is on display and is an american red model with the words interceptor at the sides. You can check tis out at the shop.

Cannot be...I just called Looi's last wed and they say they dun do original panniers for VFR now.

Anyone knows where to buy VFR 06 side mirror immediately? My left side mirror was broken off in half after I have a freak accident when I am unparking my bike, most probably I forgot to lift down my side stand when I park this morning or someone has lift off my side stand, I did not notice it so I drop the bike when I was lifting it from the main stand from the right side. Quite a no of scratches, darn it.

Sep 02 to Oct 02- Black Cagiva Planet (1 word Lousy)

Oct 02 to Oct 03- Yellow RXZ133 (Too light for me)

Oct 03 to Mar 05- White Purple CBR 400RR (Not enough style & power)

Mar 05 to Dec 06- Red CBR 1000RR (Wonderful except the magnetic coil issue)

Dec 06- Dec 07- Black VFR 800 (Good bike but not my style, thks for the memories)

Dec 07- Black GSX1000K8 (Nothing else to say except Damn good)

Try using high bond epoxy ti zam si dong. Make sure you get those meant for alu. Or else it will not withstand the vibrations. Good luck

Latest news is that my panniers will arrive tomorrow. The mounting should be straight forward and easy rite? Any advise?

erm mounting Is straight forward and easy. Just takes time because THE EXISTING SCREWS ARE DAMN DIFF TO REMOVE! :giddy: , coz many of then at weird angles.

Actually hard to remove ones are at the bottom where dirt accumulate. And also beware 2 bolts, which screws onto a square looking nut and "tarik" by the mudguard plastics. When you loosen the square nut will "cut into the plastic. Just make sure you dont' strip the plastic.

Other then that Ok lah. It will be more efficient and easier if you can have 1 more helping hand. To "tarik" certain stuff while you tighten.

Have fun with the new panniers!!

Yes...Insurance for this bike is 800 plus. OTR 20.5K is veri good already. Fuel consumption is very dependent of rider, for me, I can get 15km/litre easily. 17km/litre I must be reserved a bit. :cheeky:
