you are on front 120/70 and rear 180/55? if you are running these rubbers it's way over kill for 250.... trust your rubbers.....

Doesnt the Hornet 250 use these tyre sizes?

 

Stock >>

130/70ZR16 (Front) even stock tyres are bigger than 120/70..

180/55ZR17 (Back)
