Sunny think maybe its the yellow strips that is kinda slippery. Somemore abit drizzling and the speed is very fast. Thats maybe why u lose control that make it tankslap....

I seldom or maybe never post in this thread before, but I got to know some members here such as Spectrum, Endlessloop, Tingchiyen, etc during one outing sometimes ago, been lurking around to read comments about Hornet bikes.

Sorry to read about your accident, have a speedy recovery.

By the looks of your helmet, I think you went down very hard.

Fortunately you are wearing a full face Arai ( I think ), it is the chin area that is totally expose when wearing a open face.

I will wear my full face more often rather than let it collect dust on the shelf

BTW, what speed did you went down to cause such extend of damage to your helmet?

Rest well and ride carefully

It doesn't make any difference whether a motorcyclist has the right-of-way or not, the rider is the one most likely to get hurt.

definately the drizzle, road markings, speed=crash.

don't know why the road is most slippery during drizzle or light rain. during downpour i can still hit 140 to 150.

pos·er (pozr) n.

A Sportbike rider who habitually pretends to be something he is not and only care about how they appear to the public as their bikes are nothing more than props to get them noticed by girls or even teenage boys which they want to impress with fictional tales of all the hardcore riding they do.

The road is most slippery when it starts to rain, because initial downpour will lift oil and surface grime off the road, forming a slippery layer. More rain will wash all these off, but initial rain is the most dangerous.

I crashed at like 30km/h over bumps, similar tank slapper but at such low speeds. Don't underestimate the road.

Me saw what happened becoz it was right infront of me. Think Kwan also saw it too bcos he was behind me. Gyan was slightly infront of where Wayang fell.

I was slowing down approaching the Yellow Strip but suddenly a bike overtook me (can say quite damned fast). I "agak-agak" it was Wayang. Vision was quite dark.

A few seconds later, I saw spinning sparks and my heart started beating fast worrying about the rider. Really damned SCARY, man! I rode even slower, not to overrun the rider.

And saw a body lying down motionless for a few seconds. Making me even more worry. Parked my bike on the rd shoulder. Kwan was behind me. We saw him moved, stood up and came towards us. Briefly asked him about his condition. Then Kwan & I pulled Wayang's bike to the road shoulder. Really damned lucky. Few seconds later a car passed by.

The bike meter 'koyak', slider, gear lever bend in. I was able to pull-out the gear lever but not able to start the bike. So, I tried to push the bike using my leg.

Damned it! my leg too short. Can't push and balance at the same time. So Kwan took over. Gyan & I proceeded to the toll exit.

Then Smokin passed by and parked in front of us. About few minutes later Kwan rode alone. He said that his "Leg Cramp" when using his leg to push the bike. Then

Alan and Alvin came to the rescue.......................

Wayang, Speedy Recovery....

Rest Well....
