For those who need tankbra full cover, Get the baxster from Motoworld. Model CB600 Hornet can use on the CB250 Hornet. Hornet 900 are a different model. Cost abt 250-260.

there was a point in time i was really considering ordering the Yamamoto twin exhaust for the Hornet250. Total cost $2,500... :giddy: :giddy:

hey joe!!

glad u managed to open the seat. Takes a little bit of getting used to before the success rate hits 10 out of 10! haha! :cheeky:

The insurance papers can discard already, already got it cancelled. The cords i am thinking of getting myself a new set of them since those i left in there are pretty old and stretched. so no worries u can keep them~!

As for the bird... :help: :help: :help:

almost had a disaster yesterday!! i learnt that a heavy bike should not be parked on a downhill gradient because:

1) the sidestand tends to slip away under the weight

2) putting the main stand is incredibly difficult with bike pointing nose down.

3) can't push the bike back uphill either! TOO HEAVY!!

i parked it about a meter behind a car, but the slipping side stand prompted me to use other measures. Everytime i released the brake a little the bike inched a little further forward irreversibly, to a point where the tire was 1cm away from the bumper of the car in front. i could do nothing except hold on to the front brake lever with my right hand and wait for a samaritan to come to my rescue. :giddy:

thankfully a huge sized indian worker passed by in his pickup and he helped me pull the bike back uphill till i had enough clearance to ride away...

Might as well upgrade to Hornet900. :cheer:

Hi feng125(or should that be feng1100 now),

with regards to the seat,it seems that that's the characteristic of the bike.

Am thinking of getting a Corbin seat for personal comfort, though

my guesstimate is the price can be quite ex! :giddy:

I may end up with a locally fabricated Corbin seat instead.

ok, i'll dump the documents away then. And congrats with the bird!!:thumb:

Finally something new from Suzuki... a new 2A bike with underseat exhaust plus fuel injection. Anyone knows usually how long it takes for an exhibition bike goes to the road?

Btw, when Hornet250 go for touring in Malaysia, what speed usually you guys maintain it at? 140km/h? Does it strain the bike?

Forgot to ask - where to buy the original tank sticker for Hornet 250 ("Hornet" one, not the wing)? Boon Siew?

And very rare for Suzuki to design with underseat exhaust... they probably starting to pick up the trend liao.

s4 will not loose market share, in fact it's making a killing. it killed so many 2a bikes.
