Anyway, they are charging me $50 for that front tire.. Planning to send bike for conversion.. 17inch rim, twin disc brake, carbon fender, have to change the fork sleeves, tune carb, abit of servicing here and there...

 

most importantly, fresh tires ^^.. but not so soon.. this project is a pocket burner. >"

hi bro. saw one in a motordiam at serangoon road, coe 2019, asking 5.4k machine .lotsa smoke when engine started. looks to have stored for quite sometime. kinda of expensive

I saw someone selling a few months ago, FQ plate for 3.8k with renewed COE and quite a no. Of blings. My friend wanted it but was kinda late. im sure there'll still be better wanting to part so that they can upgrade!

lol anyway, can go check out tyre worms if its a hole in the tyre, cheap and quite effective fix, 6-12 bucks i think, people have even tracked with wormed tyres, not reccomended though

has anyone tried top speed on the hornet? i could only get up to 165 on a straight and 170 on a slight downslope. hmm i see online quotes of 180 kph top speed on stock sprocket size, i wonder if its because im using a 50w oil.

just took my hornet out for dinner. confirm at the air pump that my rear tire is leaking. have yet to find out the cause.

hi bro i think bro Rapidthinker had tried 170 on nshw. maybe try smaller sprocket, smaller ones give better top speed.

anyway did u put a wind shield on the bike? speed more than 120 is neck breaking

nah i dun have windshield, prone down on the tank, scary position when going over bumps though , ok la i tried 200 on my old bandit b4, its not that bad for just short distances, yea for long dist will be neck wrenching though
