Top speed 160 easy after tat no point la not enough road its not like big bike. but i must say this lil bike is impressing me more and more alas its still not my cup of tea power wise.

I still have a KnN filter for the 250 up for grabs selling at 50 most places dont even carry the stock filter any more

has anyone tried top speed on the hornet? i could only get up to 165 on a straight and 170 on a slight downslope. hmm i see online quotes of 180 kph top speed on stock sprocket size, i wonder if its because im using a 50w oil.

to me, it's most likely the tire.. becoz i saw a big lobang.. dunno last time previous owner kena what.. now the patch now sticky le i think..

i tried my own top at 220km 8500rpm.

think still can go hahah

haha! yea my bike's the 250 you bigger hornets with the detuned cbr's engines 175 no kick la!!

 

! haha actually hornet 250 is also a tuned for torque cbr250rr enigne, just some hornet 250 trivia for other 250 riders.

hey kman bro, actually wanted to ask u how u remove ur exhaust baffles? did u tong a hole??

 

i actually stripped the rear and side panels off to take a look and remove it after seeing your post. but dont see any bolts like those for aftermarket pipes.

should be you tong it right?

oh guys want to share this nicely done up hornet 250 ! i really love the flushed tail and integrated signal lights to the brake light from the cbr 954 ( but he had to cut the fairing to fit) , makes it look more "hornety"

 

very nice mods with the rim conversion the 6 piston brakes!!!!! omg!

 

some inspiration for all.

haha bro, without baffle does it sound loud when its idling? seems like without baffle the fc wil be better cos better airflow?

Actaully no diff in sound and power so i put it back la as u can see i am very bored i spend more time sayang it than riding it

today morning just washed my hornet.. polished the rim again.. heee

ya.. i was there from about 1150pm till about 2.30am like that. I was with few other frens. they riding S4.. so total got 2 S4 and 1 hornet.. all 3 are black hondas.

 

ooh wat a waste! maybe when i saw s4 so nv take notice of them.

Waa kilat man. anyway how did u wash the bike? i was quite worried abt washing this bike at petrol kiosk as they use water jet and lotsa foam..scare the water may seep into important parts

use pail or water spray? put the spray into shower mode. imagine bathing your baby can already. lol. use toothbrush to clean tight area. autosol to polish rim. lol

actually when i was stil ridin my hornet i had wanted to install the 954 tail light myself.. i hate the pop out stock ones.. made it look realli dated.. then i noticed the 954's one might juz fit.. in the end i traded in the bike b4 anythin was done..
