The NEW 2005 Hornet 600F

http://www.motorcycledaily.com/120104side2.jpg

Two years after completely redesigning the Hornet 600, Honda unveils a slight redesign of the bike in Bologna today. Now featuring upside down forks (non-adjustable) and redesigned instrumentation, along with some chassis changes necessitated by the new fork, the bike has a slightly more aggressive look.

k.. the new 05' cb600f hornet.. ride it or crash it ?

i had always liked the design of a hornet.. retro stylin wif a futuristic look.. but i cant say i like wat i see in the new 05 hornet 600.. the inverted forks r probably great for performance.. since most mags feel tat the front fork of the hornet is too soft for its own good.. but the digital display ? i have to say i prefer the the 2 round analog display of the 04 hornet 600 more.. n the mirrors.. i noe rectangular mirrors probably looks more stylish but i feel the old round ones were kinda like the distinct feature in a hornet.. n its great for lookin at the traffic behind u.. lastly the color.. metallic orange ? yucks man.. n i tot the japs noe something abt wat looks nice.. perhaps they wanna break into a beri niche grp of ppl who idolises the color orange..

the last word.. i think other then the inverted forks.. nothing else really appeals to me..

Actually inverted forks are better in handling, but is kinda difficult to take care of it. As normal conventional fork stem expose are higher, so when riding speeding at high or normal speed, the small chips stones wont hit much to damage the fork stem, but inverted forks are kinda dangerous.

ic.. sounds logical.. but the front fender seems to cover the inverted forks pretty well..

anyway.. i noe havin inverted forks means better performance.. as a inverted fork contributes less to unsprung weight.. so its easier for the front suspension to track the road.. (correct me if i am wrong.. but i seldom am.. lolz)
