Update: Now their CNY 2012 package is out... I have placed my reservation. For those inexperienced CNY hirers, piece of advice, never leave it to last minute then try to find a car during CNY. Earlier birds get to enjoy discount and more variety of cars to choose from, plus better cars. Cheers!

For bros n sis here, do beware of car rental scam esp during festive season, many ppl have been cheated b4 as they are attracted to the cheaper rates that are used to entice them to sign up. Best to go to a legal car rental company.

What happened? Had a bad experience? Dont get disheartened, probably u got your car from an illegal car rental? I went thru that cos its difficult for us to know if the car is rental authorised. Nowadays I only go to A-Drive Car Rental @ Serangoon only cos lucky for me, its near my house.

There is once i rented a car and dey didn't service the car and give proper maintenance eventually the car got overheated

Probably unlucky sometimes as not all wear n tear have warning signs... It all depends on the company in general. If they're those illegal types, probably they wont care cos the mentality is that the cars are not theirs, so why waste extra $ to service. And they wont need to uphold any reputation.

 

Legal ones should be better. At least the cars are theirs and reputation is at stake cos they are there for the long run. But as mentioned, some breakdowns are really unforeseeable.

Just be careful of scams & fraud, every year this period will have, its in the newspapers and tv, they tempt you with very cheap rates ask you put deposit then MIA thereafter. Market rate is as such for this period, same as CNY. So when its too cheap to be true, better be careful.

 

I think they have rates for 5-day rental, u can give them a call to find out. Cheers!
