can you guys elaborate more on this badge and name tag thing? thanks in advance :smile:

one of the badge on the collar is your skills badge, it shows which vocation you are trained in

and the one on the sleeve is the formation badge showing which unit you are currently with..

 

then the last will be the tag over your chest saying SINGAPORE.

i went back for mob in nov and were given the singapore tag, formation and battalion logo.

 

nov kanna mob. after xmas put on standby again. wtf.

i love dividends.

i think u served 2 and 1/2 years for NS.

 

most prob the current JC batch fight 1 atec cos service cut to 2years and shld ord in Jan.

(my guess)

TRaining is OK. If you are athletic and sporty, it is fine. Otherwise you will be very "chuan" huffing and puffing.

 

I was known to be trouble maker then....i dont know why. Maybe becos i was too smart for them. hahaha. anyway, more than a decade ago.

heard from my friend its commando ? is it true ?

you will start training in the pasir ris camp and whether u pass out as a commando depends on you.
