Recently bought a pair of rear brake pad which the shop owner claimed that it is good.

This bike shop by the name of

Lian Chin Heng Motor & Carriage @ Woodlands

Sold me a pair of brake pad by the brand

Fizpower

claiming that is is good @ $28.

After he change it, he asked me if I want to changed the tensioner.

Saying that some pin will drop and damage the engine.

And quote me a price of $70.

Any comments?

why make urself upset if anybody here tells u that u are being "carrot-ed" ?

anyway .. my bike is bought from there ... but i never ever go do anything at that workshop ... but i shall not elaborate the reason ...

i am a customer there as well , i understand that the price there maybe a little higher , but all i can say is , the service + follow up is very good , and they actually cared about my bike , they offer alot of bike service to me at a very low price or free , it all depends on how you people approach the boss benny or his younger brother , they are frank , no hidden agenda ,

 

PS , i aint trying to suck up his balls and i see no need in doing that , but its just that they really take good care of my bike , i dun mind paying more , at least i can see that their service and frankness is sincere , and i appreciate it.
