Hi guys, just wondering whats the best method to remove off the rim stickers from the rim. Asked alot of sticker shops on whether they provide the service anot but none wanted to do therefore i decided to do it myself.

All advices and responses are greatly welcomed. Thanks in advance. =)

I got 2 ideas in my mind. Soapy water and/or WD-40 and/or grease remover.

Works great for me when i pasted a decepticon badge on my YBR head fairing. Used soapy water. Didn't work. Used WD-40. Work 75%. Then used grease remover. Cleaned everything off.

I got double sided tape on my wooden door. Used WD-40. Works, but time consuming. Left it for a few days. It got worse. More difficult to take out. Soapy water all didnt work. In the end used lighter fluid. Works. But some scratches on the door which can easily be fixed with lacquer or wood stains. Was recommended by a hardware shop aunty to use turpentine.

u can try to ask those sticker shop, i believe u got $$$ they will do for u. If u want a 1/2 fxxk condition on ur rims than u try to diy (because i try that and took me close to 1/2 day to finish 1 rim and it is a 1/2 fxxk condition) but than sometime i rather use the time to stick sticker for other ppl than doing 'dirty job' for other... No harm asking.. singapore so big, got $$$ sure got solution..

There is someone out there for me

I know there is someone out there

I know she is waiting so patiently yeah

Can you tell me her name?

(Somebody tell me her name)

This life-long search is gonna drive me insane

How does she laugh?

How does she cry?

What's the color of her eyes?

Does she even realize I'm here?

Where is she? Where is she? Where is she?

Where is this beautiful girl?Who is she? Who is she?

Who is gonna complete my world?

bro,

if u intending to put another type of rim stickers, u can visit those sticker shops and get them take it out, clean it off and put a new one for u...

if u intending to take out your current rim stickers and not putting any in future, try googone... it works extremely well with stickers residues... u can get this at those home fix diy shops...

hope it helps... cheers!

Thanks guys for the feedbacks. I also though got money can get shops to do for me but in the end, all say dont provide this service.

Not wanting to paste another rim sticker on my rims. So i might go for the diy methods you guys suggested. Will those remover agents you guys recommend eat off the paint on my rims?

bro, i dun think it work that way...

i peel off the sticker, it will usually leave some sticker residue...

then i use googone dap with clean and smooth cloth and lightly rub the residue and let the liquid break down the residue before i apply some more light rubbing on it and it will come off le...

just my advice as well.... u can also use lighter fluid to remove the sticky residue from the stickers removed. please remember to removed it slowly and not just pull it off fast as it will be a hard to peel the edge again.... happy peeling.....

watch out when a gush of wind passes you like a tornado..... all you will see my taillight...%5Bimg%5Dhttp%3A//i.imgur.com/WYrVd.jpg[/img]
