Definitely not this year liao. Because it should be raining season in Cameron Highlands till late January. I am actually looking at next year march. After chinese new year.

 

Looks i need to buy Kup also le to join you la......when you planning for it ah....

 

Bro, no need ah. Your class 2 bike will be very handy to us. We ride infront. You ride behind to be the sweeper. Protect us from bullies. With your light, they will stay off your bike. ^_^

 

For a kup to reached dat far...... What would u recommend for a pre-check bike setup??

Mine total stock.. Other than aesthetic wise.

 

IMO, Stock better. Less mod also meet less problem may arise. Of course, its better to change to a slightly fatter tires and heavier rim to make the bike slightly heavier abit. So its more stable and more rubber contact during cornering. On a Kups to Malaysia and up north, speed actually is not an issue because to start with

 

Applicable to outta Singapore travelling only,

 

1. Our bike cannot tahan high speed for really long travelling distance.

2. It will be very stressful on the One piston and it will eat the engine oil

3. Fuel consumption will be very high too. No point going so fast and yet have to make many many short petrol stops

4. No windblast protection. As our bike does not have a windshield, high speed travelling will bring in more wind blast. Wind blast is not good because it tired out the rider very easily. Making the ride very uncomfortable.

 

We will reach our destination. Just need to be patience, enjoy the safe ride and breakaway from stressful life in Singapore.

Actually for easier management, i will cap the limit of bikes going up. Maybe 10 bikes? I dont think i can management a convoy of twenties over bikes going up. Too huge a responsibilities.

 

Hey spark is coming new model next year. It will have 5 running gears instead of the 4 now. Maybe you wanna wait for that. ^_^

Btw on my bicycle trip to Thailand, I fly there with my bike and ride from town to town. The picture is my ride from Cameroon Highlands to Gua Musang on folding bicycle. Very enjoyable. Nice cool air and plenty of time to enjoy the sceneries.

Decided to get a Honda Supra X actually Wave with sport rim and front and rear disc brake. Collected the bike on Sat. and in process of running in. Very dangerous on expressway as heavy vechicles tends to tailgate me. At least I'm not mistaken for a tree branch by some idiots.

Any plan to stay over in ipoh/ penang before going into thailand? quite tedious for single cylinder to run continously over 12-16hours ( even with stops of 30min intervals).

 

Anyway i wun be able to ride fast probably ard 60km/h - 80km/h. pls let me know in advance, as i need to prepare my bike well for trips.
