i wanted to get a alarm too.

 

hearing tat it might mess up my circuit when water go in la blah blah blah.

any recommendations on alarm?

 

there's a SPY 2 way alarm going for approx $140 on the MO section..

anyone uses it?

 

and will the alarm drain ur batt fast?

since it will chirp & flash the headlights every now n then..

 

think two way is around that range...but the steel mate ones is slightly cheaper. for batt, it does if u dun use ur bike very often, like mine i had to jump start twice before i get rid off the batt , and cos u dun ride often the batt doesnt charge but alarm and whatever nots u have will slowly drain it. but if u ride often or daily should be just fine.

well, to each his own...i've heard of some ppl saying some other ppl had this n that...circuit mess up etc etc...touchwood, so far mine has served me well for coming to 3yrs...and i feel much better sleeping at night.

3 times a week ok la bro...if there are couple of days straight that u dun ride, just warm up ur bike. at least the idle above one shud get the batt charging...dun wait two weeks then warm up bike like me

hmm.. as for our k8 n k9 600,

 

H11 12v55w for the main beam projector,

HB3 12v60w for the 2 high beams.

power band from my experience is great it gives you that edge when your off the bend/line..sound good too...but yeah only the brave uses it hehe currently me and my friend,and a couple of guys i dont know..

i think the ac adaptor thingy is the hid ignitor

Dont need mahx...Last time my HID also dont have, just ballast with wires to connect up and another set for the HID bulb only..

 

I search for Digital HID kit, also dont have that additional box..And the DHID Kit seems like a much better kit cos it's using microprocessor to regulate the power to the bulb during startup, brighter than normal ballast and compensate for the lumens of the bulb as it ages..
