does the alarm screw up ur previous bike and kill its batteries? my advice is, put it if u want to. I have mine hooked up on my bike for 3yrs now no problems. of cos for our kind of bikes u dun get all those auto-start and whatever geez the alarm provide, except blinking of the signal indicators and the vibration/parameter detection.

is not dun support, is best not to, for the following reasons:

1. as it triggers a standard long streak of electricity to your starter, more than it takes to start the bike and will continue even when the bike is started. the electricity from the alarm and the additional electricity from the engine will greatly reduce the lifespan of your ECU, starter coil, rectifier.

2. in order for the auto start feature to be enabled, u will have to disable your the inbuilt security feature which would only start the engine only if the original key with the inbuilt chip is inserted into the ignition switch... That means, anyone can just copy your key and start the bike.

Relax!

helloo...looking forward 2 eating anw,.,

hey any idea is there any diff in pc3 n pc 5???? or is the same juz got additional function like no need clutch to change gear and lcd screen?

pc3 n 5 is basically the same jus that pc5 got more gadgets to fit into it eg.auto tune......

as for our bike, its ok to change gear without using clutch jus that u need to know the rite technique. even with a quickshifter, u'll still need to clutch in n up the gear so clutch is still needed

hallo, got a few simple questions that i need to clarify with u more experienced bros..

1. wat do u guys clean ur chain with? one of the forum threads says to use diesel.. some say use kerosene..

the mech at Guan Hoe say dun use kerosene cos will damage the o-rings.

so which in ur opinion is safe to use?

2. if i need to get kerosene, i heard it can be bought from hardware stores rite?

how abt if i decide to use diesel? do i just go petrol station n pump a 1.5L bottle?

a bit weird leh.. no?

3. all the chain lubricant gets flung onto my rear rim on the day after.. so if i use the diesel/kerosene to clean my rims n wipe it off, will it "dissolve" the paint on my rims?

this sounds a little silly, but i just wanna make sure..

thks in advance for ur help! :)

1. nvr tried kerosene but diesel is really clean and good and if you did a online search. alot of forums and web site encourage kerosene.

2. u need to purchase those aluminum bottle from the petrol station to purchase buy diesel. they wun let u or will nag if u use those 1.5L plastic bottles.

3. if ur rim is OEM paintwork den most likely wun. i use WD40 to clean those flings on my rims but not to wash my chain.

if u dun wanna it to fling, get a better chain lube. lube oni after a ride, when the chain is hot or lube and leave it over night.

just my 2cents :cheeky:

any way does ani 1 knows how much does kerosene cost?

True2,neva use wd40 to clean ur chain..Tat one confirm spoil ur o-ring one..

I've been using kerosene ever since,so far no issues with my chain..

Use GT85 to clean your rims, WD-40 kinda attract dust..

But for me after washing, i wax my rim..

Chain wise, use to be use diesel..But need to ride and have it fling off before lubing the chain which is what i usually do since i have the habit of warming up the chain with a 5mins ride before applying..

Current use strong detergent sold @ Carrefour & Shop N Save to clean the chain..Less messy cos i use a separate bottle of spray(Plain water) to rinse off the excess before moving to the next section..

Saw this OWS Chain Cleaning product on MCA recently, like kinda good..Anyone keen to experiment and let use know??
