wah bros ! bike giving me problem man today ! today while riding , FI came on again ! suddenly at gear 4 , the bike LOSS OF POWER ! then normal again , less than 20 sec, LOSS OF POWER AGAIN. all these while FI is blinking . then i stop by roadside. off the engine, wait for a few sec , swtich it on again , and it becomes normal again. i really dun understand what is happening man ! PLS HELP ME BY ENLIGHTING ME THANKS !

 

u using ur 02 sensor right? probably have to do with 02 sensor or sumthing. maybe it sent signal too much fuel thus fi feed less fuel bike feel like loss of power, then feed normal again then feed less again. but of cos might not be the case also. best is to see the FI error code. but in ur case it comes on and off difficult to catch what error. but whatever it is, gotta be electronic that affects ur fi/throttle body.

hi guys...i juz got my K9 600 in Jan 2010 ..n have recently compete in SMSA race 1 in PG...its my 1st time racing in a 600cc sportsbike..when i lined up in the grid for qualifying...i noticed that i was the only Gixxer around flooded by a sea of R6s n CBRs...

 

i do hope to see more Gixxers competeting so i have some kakis on the track... : )

 

n reading from the last few postings about mods...

my bikey is running on a Yoshi R55,BMC Race filters,PVC...etc etc

by the way, if u notice there's a few reasons y u r the only gixxer during the race...

 

1. MSS only allow stock brake pump and caliper... suzuki brake pump sucks...

2. MSS race held in sepang where power is as important as handling... again suzuki power suck...

by the way, if u notice there's a few reasons y u r the only gixxer during the race...

Give me a CBR600 anytime...

 

Rode on my friend's 08 CBR600 the other time, minus the fact that the power delivery is lesser than my 750(Of cos), the handling part is good !!!

haha, i really like the cbr600. actually im suppose to take that. but the salesman at both BP and MAH told me that only left abs version for cbr600.

 

and choices are left wit gixxer n the yammies.

where by r6 06-09 is constant having lower rating being rated for track or street.

but these r all undertable stuff... no one can verify...

 

one reason i can think of is... in websites and magazines...

their concept is 50% track 50% road or even 20% track 80% road mentality...

so road wise... i believe gixxer has the upper hand due to its comfort

try riding the R6 for 30mins... u will know wat i mean...

Last minute got to know that seller bout it brand new at Ebay.. Europe standard but homoglited, paisei i not sure whether i spell it rite or not... Sian lah.. Now must hunt for Akra or Arrow all over again..

is it the fella who is selling the titanium akra at 2k? i saw sumone selling it at 2k. anyway, akra u can get it at any shop now for about 1.8k. some shop bundle it with ypipe. arrow now i dunno how much but last time around the same price as akra but less 100~200 bucks. if u going to buy new pipes, and choosing between arrow and akra, and if u prefer to get akra, then just go buy akra. one is that u wont regret u didnt buy akra, second is the price more or less about the same.

yo bro...yes i agree the Gixxer pump is not that effective...but in PG its reasonable (for me at least,maybe i going too slow..kekeke)

but in Sepang,the Gixxer handles well too(again maybe i going slow)

actually i hoping see more of the K5 to K 7 to race(they the hooligans lah)..

i know the K8 n 9s are tuned more for street riding n it makes a good beginner bike for racing ..

n the 600 K9 can be turn into a 136bph monster...(i have the specs with me..kekeke)

 

strangely i was in California last month n out of 10 bikes that passed me..9 were Gixxers n i met strangers who came up to chat with me 'cause i was wearing my Gixxer cap..

Gixxers is still the bike to beat on the track even though it has mellowed down the last couple of years...

 

till another Gixxer decides to compete in SMSA race,i guess i be alone for awhile...lolx!!!!

not much pixs..most pixs is a stock bike as i did a hard run in in PG,another time with some parts installed in n a 3rd was track day i sepang before i left for the states..

bought my R55 in Cali n install in 2 days before SMSA round without testing it

its undergoing cosmetic surgery now...hahaha...

it took so long to do up cause i been travelling n even now im overseas n will only see my baby bikey this 16th at Sepang as she will be transported over there n next time i see her will be May 16th SMSA round 2...
