Went planet...chong say clutch plate is gonna kaput. So he adjusted the timing chain or sth. So its working fine now...no more stalling.

 

But difficult to get to neutral and needs a good kick to gear one....so how much is the damage to change the clutch plate? Any good shops to recommend.

 

Or should I buy it direct at KS motor and give to shop to do? Cheaper?

those gixxer in other country are all using yoshimura that are made in the states. Not the made in JP like we have in singapore.

 

But from what i have read, JP made yoshi have better finish and are of better quality. But i believe those better ones are the race full sys. not those EEC approved one

btw R&G have arrived... Suzuki case covers,engine case sliders, off set cotton reel,bobbins,fork protectors,exos protectors (tri oval,round,oval),aero crash protectors,frame plugs,my bike is a K9 600 so i brought extras for K6-K9 600..

because i seriously not too sure..I chose R-55 because my bros over in CALI insisted I get the R-55......u know la,the Suzuki n Yoshi thingy...

but what I heard is the Yoshimura R&D exos are better(as in performance) than Yoshimura Japan ones...

 

oh ya n one things that surprises me is there is a small box (juz like the one u find in stock exos) below too...I thought it suppose to be straighhrough,i wanted to remove it but my mechanic advise against it...oh well,..but its a screamer now redlining @ 16,000..

Bro, by the old terms LTA(Land Transport Authority) = ROV(Registrar Of Vehicles)...

 

ROV got rename to LTA quite sometimes ago but they still continue using the ROV plate until 1-2 years back..
