I don't think it such a good idea. Consider if one of you do any funny thing, people can mark you by your bike number through this thread.I think a meeting up will be much better to recongize each other. Just my opinion. But actually I also don't mind putting my plate up.:cheeky:

Hey guys, yesterday I tried adjusting my preload and I find something strange. Normally when you adjust the preload knob, the compression adjuster are supposed to follow the preload knob. But mine different. I already adjust the preload untill the hardest setting, but the compression adjustor never move down together. Resulting the compression adjustor to look like a errected nipple. I don't know about suzuki bikes, but Hondas, yamaha etc all compression adjustor follows the preload knob. I attached the picture, anyone had this same problem? By the way after I adjust the preload, my suspension sag only improved by 5mm nia? Abit funny.

Well, I only how to adjust the initial sag. Normally the front and rear shock should have a sag of 30mm based on your own weight. So you have to measure from the point where the shock is fully extended (you have to jack up the bike, using those normal car jack is possible) to to the point where the shock is compressed when you are sitted down on the bike with both your leg on your foot peg ( you have to get friend to help you support the bike). and Adjust the preload as neccessary till you get the 30mm sag. But I think G6 front fork coil is too soft, might have to change it. As for the compression/rebound, you have to adjust it accordingly to how you ride, meaning you have to trial and error to get it right. Hope this help. Always remember what other ppl tell you about their setting might not be suitable for you due to different weight and riding style. :thumb:

Looks to me you adjusted the preload out instead (less preload instead of more), thats why it is sticking out so much coz now more line of the preload adjuster are showing what...

No leh. Normally harderning the preload works in the way that you need to compress the spring. So meaning you have to dial the knob "in".

Well you can, but ultimately is your own feeling and judgement that determine how good is the setting. Normally Bikelab can only tune till what he thinks is right. But that doesn't means you will. I got a friend who actually go tune his suspension setting and go riding everytime untill he get it right. Heard he had tune his suspension for 1 year before he get it perfect. :sian: Actually the main issue is $$ hahaha. Anyway yesterday went mersing tried taking all those winding trunk round, thought the stock compression setting is too hard.

Well, if it FOC, mai tu liao.. But one point to note is one setting is not for all kind of riding condition. Normally hard setting is good for going corner with flat surface condition road, but defiantely a no no for bumpy corner. :cheeky:
