A few simple rules to follow when making a DIY fender eliminator and you won't go wrong,

 

1) Use stainless steel or steel, never never use aluminum cause it will become brittle with all the vibration coming from the bike and wind. Try to get at least 1~2mm thickness will do.

 

2) Make sure you have enough material surface area to support against the undertail and licence plate.

 

3) When mounting the F.E against the undertail, do try to use back the original 4 mounting as more mounting point will be more secure. This is to prevent vibration from the F.E which might break your undertray. I've seen it happened.

 

4) When mounting the F.E. against your licence plate, try to mount the plate in a way that the bolt is furthur away from the edge of the licence plate. Ideal place is to drill the holes on the centre of the plate, but will be ugly. Maybe around 20~30mm away from the edge of the licence plate.

There is 2 sensor.. 1 is a valve sensor while the other is the throttle body sensor.. The 1 tat need to be changed is the Throttle Body Sensor. Meng Tong told me tat he have already changed more than 30 sensors for this TPS issue.. It takes arnd 3-5hrs to get it done.. Cost is arnd $140..

i got it machine 19.5k when i bought a K6 750 which is suppose to be higher cause YEN was high...i got it 23.5k OTR in the end, 23 yrs old..

 

HmM...k7 750 i think 27 yrs old only 22.5k OTR...your 21750 abit steep...OTR is how much?

 

anyway the 750 will be a good choice and you will not regret it.
