plumpeape: if it's 160 for 3 brakehose, go fer it pls! hkl quoted me 200 the other day, saying that price has raised on the supplier side.

 

to all: do u guys find the front fork a bit on the soft side? i was advised by my friend to bleed the forks, and change to fork oil to sae15 type. any comments on this?

Yes, the fork is on the soft side. Try adjusting your compression/rebound/preload of your fork. If you are on the heavy side, it quite hard for you to achieve the rider sag due to the spring is too soft. I had tried adjusting the preload, but I still can't get my rider sag. So it either change spring or play around with the compression/ rebound setting which I did. So far so good. Till I got enough money to spare then I'll go for heavier spring.

Guys,I reli dun understand wat u all do to hav long mileage.My highest record is 250km b4 turn on reserve.Wat u ll change ah?Mine is fully stock,ride ard 100 or less than 110km/h normally wif a pillion.Seldom whack...

u cant judge base on that actually. my reserve lights up at 225- 235 km

 

but my mileage works up to 18km/L. it really depends on how much u pump into ur tank.

wad do u mean by 3 hose?

they usually quote 3 hose together or wad?

is it worth it that i change mi brake hose so fast?

they sae original 1 already veri gd, if i change it nw, its like a waste leh, original 1 already veri x.

mi friz advise mi to use longer b4 changin...

is there really a diff?

3 hose = 2 for the front 2 calipers, n 1 for the rear caliper.

 

different places quote differently.

air force...u should tell her this "go screw a spider would yea" :lol:

 

wX^: that time they adjust the damping,compression blah blah blah for me..i would recommend that u juz change front hose..front braking is more important than having ur rear wheel lock if u tap abit too hard on the rears..

brake fade?my still doing good in the brakes dept til now...

 

 

but horz,alot of reviews from ppl riding bikes wif radial mount calipers..handle will vibrate when u do hard breaking...even from a 636 rider..
