seriously,u go bikelab..they will oso say change rear for wat...that's why they onli recommend ppl for front..they got a 636 track bike,the owner oso change front niaz..

01)steel hose it a must. it last u lifetime.chg in 1mth time after i got bike.

 

02)anyone encounter sound from front disc w/o braking?

 

03)24th march? i'll be 300km ++away from sg.. sry..

 

04)best dun touch preload. play only the two nipple( compress/rebound ) turn one hard another hard.

anyway cak BIKELAB juz nw, JOSHUA mc, tok to the malay guy...

he sae that 160 oni include 2 front brake hose, if wan include the rear 1, its shd b ard 220+.

he oso sae unless u goin track, original hose is enuff for a long time ( for street use ).

he oso dun encourage changin the rear 1, sae wait scare jam rear brake.

Do u all apply lubricants like chain wax or chain loop to ur chain?

coz mi friz tel mi not to apply as it wil dirty the bike as time go by but im afraid that the tink wil bcum rusty like mi old bike leh...

if not how?use 4t?tell u wat,try to find a chain wax from maxima..that one best..warm up ur chain,spray and let it settle down for around 15-20mins den ride..maybe will fling 1-2 drops on ur rims...

 

but i tink whole sg now out of stock...

been ridin for 2 mths liao....

coz i feel like the washin of bike every week will make the chain dry, althou i din realy spray water over the chain lah....

once every 2 weeks if nv kena heavy rain..once a week if always rain..i lube my chain once 2 weeks due to the dry season..

best is to lube the chain every 500km on dry weather

ok..now i got time to explain..

 

1) there's a small black button juz below ur lcd.Depress & hold that button and den turn on ur key

2) after the thing is turn on,the tacho needle will jump up to the preset level.u can adjust it between 7k rpm(or 7.5krpm) til 15k rpm(should be) at a step of 500rpm.

3) after u have set to the rpm u wan it to light up,depress and hold the button again to save it in..

4) if u wana turn the shift indicator on,press and hold the button(this time wif the ingition already on)..the shift light will light up for awhile to indicate to u that it's turn on.and a symbol of a thunder shape will show on ur lcd
