Let me start the ball rolling! Ever since I became a Dad a year plus back, here are some of the major changes to my biking life.

1) Cannot go cruising around Singapore that often cuz I have to help wifey look after my daughter during my days off. :sian:

2) Instead of having the luxury of riding to every outing with my wife, I have to use public transport as my daughter tags along in 99% of these outings.

3) Have to cut down on the pampering of my bike with premium products cuz I need the extra cash to buy milk powder, diapers, etc...

4) Have to push bike at least 20 metres away from the parking lot when I start my bike at night. Wifey claims that my RXZ's exhaust noise wakes my daughter up. (I stay at the 2nd storey and the bike lots are quite close to my daughter's room window.)

How about the rest of you guys/gals? How have becoming a parent changed your biking lifestyle? :cheeky:

Basically no time left to ride becos only personal free time left is spent smoking cigars.

In fact since getting married 7 years ago, my bikes have all been converted to single-seaters and I no longer pillion anyone.

I also no longer go to the track.

No more weekly track/trails.

No more nightly wrenching.

No more spending on bling.

Bikes collecting dust.

Airboxes becoming safe haven for creepy crawlies.

Spare time spent making funny bike noises.

Next time, kids are bigger, I will go touring again.

Fly to Europe or Australia, rent a bike and tour.

Stop at vineyards and villages and small towns, have cigar, food wine.

relax then ride to another small town. pass by lakes and mountains, great weather, very shiok
