Hi,

Anyone bros here installed quick shift on their 848? Wonder if it's applicable to only track? How abt daily usage?

My friend install it, its meant to be usable at higher rev for smooth shifting. Daily ride oso can use but must rev higher.

Hey guys,

What I gonna ask may sound idiotic but bear with me. I am in the midst of my class2 lessons and I have been considering between SF848/1098, Honda CB1000rr and Kawasaki Z1000. SF848/1098 has always been at the top of my list but however I cant help noticing that rather new SF or even Ducati as a whole (

I've been riding from single big bore, inline 4 and boxer, ducati L twin is totally a different breed. Have you ever tought, why ducati is allowed to race in wsbk when they have a bigger CC? That is something for you to research about.

For me I've never had any similar engine performance comparing each and every bike I had ridden. Motorcycle is about exploring the art of motorcycle. In the market now, we have the luxury to choose aftermarket parts, so riding ergonomics is not a problem when choosing a bike. We can always change it at any point of time, be it suspension, handlebar rise, seat hight, rearset hight and etc but you can never make your engine like other type, example (inline 4 to v-twin).

Do not worry of impulsive buy, you will learn to appreciate your motorcycle art. Its a very complicated invention. Without doing anything when you have a headshake the bike can automatically resume riding without falling. If only you don't chop, release your brake early or etc. Isn't that amazing and of course there's lots more of it.

Be realistic, you won't be using the bike till you are 70's right. Maybe maximum 4? 5? Or even 6? You will sell it of eventually. The reason most ducati have low mileage, its because they seldom ride it. Now a days seldom bikers ride their big CC bike as commuting. Some of them will only track their bike. That's explain on the low mileage. Maintenance for ducati is not what all the people tought, its just like a normal servicing, nothing fancy about it. Difference is parts price. You want exotic? You got to pay a little more for it. That's it.

Whatever you decide on, you will still be a biker just like all of us.

Anyway, recently I had purchase silver rizoma ma005 handlebar. Put it on and go for a ride, I don't really like how it make me on upright position. I much prefer the stock bar, as it got at the drop on the grip side. Anyone interested to have more relax riding posture with your streetfighter, I'll be happy to sell it to you. I have already uninstall after the first ride. PM me if you are interested. Just to note, the hight is similar to 2012 handlebar, only it sweeps backward to ease the wrist strain comparing the stock ones.

Where do you guys have your front number plate? Pics?

I currently do not have one, and need to have one made and installed. I hear stickers are not legal.

Any suggestions?

I was thinking about mounting between the forks underneath headlight etc... but I have no idea where to get something like this done???

Where did you have the sticker made?

Hi cookie666

Not advisable to put it there as it will hit the front fender under heavy braking. Mine is sticker in front of the speedometer just like epk and most streetfighter owners.

anyone knows about the new street fighter panigale concept when will it be ready ?

Agree with scrapcook78. Don't think it'll be legal If you put it there either. Hardly visible as the headlight blocking.

Ended up getting sticker on back of speedo as recommended.

$5 from guys off Alexandra road.
