I needed to purchase some minor parts so i went to Mah Pte Ltd last week. One of the item i needed to purchase was a signal light clear lens cover, but was informed by the chap at the counter that i have to purchase the WHOLE signal light assembly which would have set me back by $95 SGD before GST. Another item was out of stock and if i had placed an order, i would have to wait about 1-2 weeks.

Unconvinced that i have to purchase the WHOLE signal light assembly, i went home and googled for some online shops selling OEM Triumph parts. I found http://www.worldoftriumph.com/. I went through the parts catalogue and i was surprised to find that the signal light clear lens cover can be bought for only ~$6.04 GBP!!!!!! Other parts were substantially cheaper too.

Without much hesitation and further logic explanation, i placed orders for the items required. The corresponding shipping charges, of course, would apply. And in exactly 9 days, the items arrived at my door!

I am sharing with you my experience for those needing to source for parts. I am very sure some old-timers of Triumph rides would have known this website, but for the uninformed, i am sure this is useful.

Thanks for sharing this bro.

The local dealer is a rip off. As with lots of other brands too - just buy them online if u need spare parts.

Speaking of rip-off, my Triumph Sprint GT share the same oil filter as the 2002 onwards Honda VFR800 ( Vtec version's). Mah price: $32.10. Honda's = $14.00.

Now we know.

No it doesn't. You have to get the mounting rack that is for the Zega pro. I have them fitted on my bike.

Hi bro, did u buy ur panniers online or from a shop here?

I placed an order online with Touratech Germany, but they e-mailed back and forwarded my order to PML, since its thier dealer here in SG.

Prices if you buy from a shop here or order online, wouldn't defer much. But buying from a shop here includes installation.

If you get online, you would have to go down to PML and collect the package yourself and find somewhere else to install it for you.

Unless your bike is a BMW, which you would also have to pay an extra installation fee separately.
