Is, this is normal if you've just removed your tank to change air-filters, spark plugs and other what-nots. The fuel sender is temporarily displaced. It'll go back to normal after a few fill-ups.

It's still e same after more than 20 fill ups bro. It's just e topmost bar that is not lighted sometimes or it comes really late. It's not something normal cos for e first 13k,all e bars were rather sensitive and accurate in reading e fuel level...o_O

1)Price of an Arrow/Zard for Tiger800 is definitely below $2k.

2)I've never heard of such issue about warranty being void due to aftermarket exhaust or any other products unless engine is meddled with.Changing an aftermarket exhaust will cause your bike to run lean. That's all.Prolly e M'sian dealers wanna push "their" product.

3)If i can recall properly,e OEM filter cost about $30.Paying RM103 is crazy! No offence cos e actual price of e filter is £9.73.

4)I rode till e meter stopped at 10k RPM at 6th gear n my speed was 209km/hr.Felt normal.U might wanna check on your head bearing/headstock on your next service.Read that through e UK forum

5)I've never came across e engine stalling but i do understand that there's a new map update for our bike but no idea if e Singaporean dealer even knows about it.

Ride safe.Cheers!

Bro Joe

Thanks for the infor.

Exercise a lil bit more patience bro. You'll be all smile when it arrives.I wanted to get either Trax or H&B topbox for my daily rides but reckon e Italian made Givi is good enough.Panniers are for my touring purposes.

Anyway I just did e remap and had e centre stand springs replaced. So far e immediate difference felt was at low throttle openings and e idling.e fuelling is kinda smoother.Having ridden my bike with e same tune for e 1st 20k mileage,I would say this mapping/tune felt better.e idling is significantly smoother as well.Still need to observe e difference to e new springs though...

If there's any more Tiger 800 or XCs out there, kindly report here:cheeky:

So far there's 7-8 otr namely

1) Joeboxer

2) Hammer

3) Iceman1

4) Hamter

This is e new bridge that links Cahaya Baru to Desaru across e Johor river. From GP,ride on NSH and exit Senai. From there make your way to e E22 highway where u'll see neverending straights all e way till e bridge.Just twist e throttle and your GSA will take u there in about 30mins maybe...

Is, try to source for the service manual online. Then locate where the wire harness socket meets the tank for the fuel sender. Spray a bit of contact cleaner. Sometimes the dirt and grime may cause incorrect reading due to dirty contacts. Happened to me once and after spraying the contact cleaner, it works fine again.

Hey Joeboxer,

Did you consider the Givi Trekker 46 when you were getting your panniers?

How is it compared to the ones you've got?

Also, any idea what's the price diff btw them?

Cheers

I think e Givi trekker panniers is slightly cheaper than e OEM Triumph's but i wouldn't recommend e OEM panniers to anyone.e hinge is not durable/strong enough and it's prone to cracking/snapping/breaking upon e 1st impact.I've never drop mime before but judging from e looks alone,it's scary. This is according to reports. It's huge & heavy! Definitely not recommended.A lot of good R&D have been put into making a good bike but unfortunately not e panniers. Get e Trax SW-Motech aluminium panniers. They are worth every cent!
