Mine can go up to 207km/h max.Couldn't really recall e RPM at tht speed cos it was done quite sometime back. However i could only go beyond 200km/h with e stock Pirelli Scorpion Trail but not on my 2nd set of tyres now,e Metzeler Tourance EXP.Don't know why but nevertheless, this bike is not meant for that kind of speed. It's an adventure tourer. It's e creamy torque that entices e rider. Not e speed.Cheers...

So with max rpm is around 10k (maybe 200km/h) and reline from 10~12k

Seems at 200km/h the Tiger will be gasping for air.

Will tried and experiance it if opportunity arises.

But after decat its a much cooler ride :)

Yap got the Zard, decat done at Mah abot $100

Tried gear6, 8k RPM speed about 180km/h

Is this the norm? seems like the bike can go max 200km/h

Think a higher screen would be better for touring

Tried mine at 10K rpm able to reach 210.

Seems from 9k to 10k the bike had reached its limits and the speed creep up slowly from 196.

Is Mah an official dealer for Triumph. More impt is whether they've the sparts for this bike?

Yes they are. Alternatively you can go through HL Cycle at Kakit Bukit Autobay too. They are closed to Mah.

thanks for the replies! appreciate it. my neighbor is riding the XC. the 3-cylinder whistle is really nice to listen to. in a dilemma now.. quite a number of choices for AT bikes nowadays..

Went Mah to check out the bike. Its much much lighter than I expect it to be. Also, seems the road version is the obvious one over the XC version to get unless you're going to do some serious off-road

Just went to Mah Motor this morning to check out the Tiger 800.

Though I don't have Class 2 license, this will be my dream bike after I attain the license =)

It's much lighter than I expected it to be, and I could get on and off the bike rather easily! HOpe to see you guys on the road!

I left the pricelist in my bike though. Haha.

If I rmb correctly, the machine price [without COE and insurance] for 800 is $26k, and $3k more for the XC model.

And the Explorer is in already. Machine price $41k. Haha!
