Hope you practice your stunts far away from other road users, as well as far away from the track.

There is a reason why sport bike stunters are generally referred to as squids.

Past: KDX200, LC4 400, LC4 620, GSXR750WR

Present: CBR900RRY, Gas Gas EC250, XR250L, XR250RV, XR400 (motard-ed), NX650 Dominator

well u need the momentum and the power of your gear 1 or 2. Usually gear 1 is easier as there is alot more torque available. From a standstill, pick up fast till u reach your powerband that has the most torque. Off close your throttle quickly to let the bike have a nose dive and wack the throttle back on immediately. Becareful here as if u open up too much u risk flipping your bike, too little, the bike will juz chiong str w/o coming up.. Once you get the hang of lifting your bike up, u will need to learn how to balance and change to a higher gear for easier control while your headlight is pointing skyward. hehe

2 strokes wheelies is a different ball game together.

Hi bikers, any pros can gif advice on wheelies? I'm riding a 600cc sport bike. Able to do power wheelies? :cheeky:

no offence but if ur a beginner then wont it be safer + 'cheaper' to learn how to do it on a lower cc bike or on specific bikes which are less prone to dmg when drop/better learning postures to be in when stunting, aka scramb/motards?

power wheelies shld be easy to do but like someone else said, on gear 1, very torque-y, can easily flip if u dun have control over ur wrist. i haven get to try upping or even popping on a 600cc yet but im sure balance/clutch wheelies are more safer to do and easier to control since most do it on gear 2/3 but downside is, u will reach balance pt faster than u do than when using power wheelie ( think of clutch wheelie motions as a stretched rubberband and u let go suddenly :) ).

more importantly, answers to ur qn, yes sportsbike of 600cc ofc can do power wheelie and clutch/balance wheelies. its see how big ur balls are and how much handling/control u have over ur wrist.

Why don't you learn how to ride fast in a racetrack?
