Guys, I am selling tall Ermax Windscreen for the Daelim S3. Ordered from Motorworld but haven't installed. Need money to replace the LED, no choice but to give up the windscreen. It is the tall type that can protect your body from debris, refer below:

Asking for $140, cheaper than anywhere you can find. My loss is your gain. PM me.

Just to share some of my exp on S3

I got the gen 1 bike and the rear arm and brake calipers got design issue. If you hear rattling sound pls pay attention to the rear brake aseembly. The thread on the arm worn out due to vibration and the whole arm and brake assembly need to be replaced. Damage was 600+ so better check this frequently for gen 1 owners.

The new brake calliper got internal rusting due to torn rubber bushing. The whole thing got jammed up. Got it fixed in msia. If need to change the calipers den another 200+. Currently still hanging on to it but there's some rattling noise when riding past 70km/h

If you mount top box and parked under direct sun not protected. Check the bottom rack assembly. Mine cracked and gave way. Probably due to heavy load too. Replacing with OEM bracket cost abt 120. The non OEM metal rack cost 95. It doesn't look good but looks much more durable from the stock plastic bracket.

The good thing abt the scoot is the FC is good. Has been doing consistenly ard 34km/l.

Hope this info can help some owners here.

Hey gnaisee, u change rear tyre at Msia, the mechanic safe and know how to fix? Change mine recently at a bike shop in jb near customs too a female boss. Charge me 120 front 135 rear.

Congrats! Enjoy ur ride. Tyres u can go back to CKA for the original tyres. Front tyre should be available in most shops but the rear size is quite odd. Chances are you may get 130/60 instead of 130/70.

I got mine changes in JB. Shop near JB customs. RM230 for both. The brand is Duro. Been using it for close to 6 months and grip is enough for me. Note: rear tyre is 130/60.

I've been wondering, if any of you have similar probelm as mine.

I noticed recently that my S3 is having issues of laggish, slow response acceleration when moving off from stop or low speed up slope.

This usually happen only from cold starts, even after warming up. Not only overnights, maybe cooldown for like 1hr or so will also kanar.

The acceleration feels abit like erm.. how to describe.. like the belt is sandpaper.. vibrations.. very much like moving off from 2nd/3rd gear of a manual bike.. (but without the feeling of engine want to cut off like that..)

Low throttle not moving, half throttle the engine roar like mad with like 15-20km/hr speed.

Have to half throttle, roarrrr.. move abit, fully close throttle then slowly open throttle while in motion then can get a slow laggish acceleration.

When reach 40ish~50km/hr, the problem start to go away with very smooth acceleration. 50-90km/hr is a breeze.. beyond that never try before lah..

After running for like 8km or so, the problem is almost not there. Up slope, moving off from stop all back to normal.

Which may be why I tell Roy and the boys, they even took for trial rides, no problems..

On a side note, putting fuel injector cleaner (some petrol additive Roy introduced during my 3k servicing) seems to lessen the problem, but not totally eliminating it.

Googled abit but nothing conclusive yet. Some say rollers too heavy, some say air filters, some say injector..

Wanted to try changing air filters, because I work in construction industry, where there's a hell lot of dust.. but worry that it may not do anything.

Anybody have similar problems or solutions to this?

Hi Bro, the S3 symptoms you have already solved? If yes, can you share with me because I also have similar problem like you.

Thank you very much!

- There are riders riding sportbikes with low handle bars, complain of sore palms from leaning on the grips for so long. With Grab On Grip covers, these problems will be a thing of the past !!!

- Grab On Grip covers allow you to ride in more comfort, especially on those long rides. PERFECT for the daily commuter, tour rider, and sport riders alike.

Features

---------

- Slip over existing grips for greater comfort, or to renew worn grips.

- Work with heated or standard grips.

- Save $$$, no need change the whole heater grip system which is very costly.

- Shock absorbing EPDM foam for a smoother ride.

- Provide comfort to wrist and palm. (Great for touring !!)

- Glove friendly.

- Extra durable, ozone, UV, gas and oil resistant

- Grip Covers MC402/width 1.25-1.45"/5"Length.

** There's customers that bought and fit it on their bicycles too !!!

Great for city riding where there's lots of traffic light, your hand will be tired during the on going "stop go" situation, this product will help to ease the stress on palm n wrist. Highly recommended for despatch/delivery riders.

"Once you try it, you'll LOVE it"

IMPORTANT NOTE : Lot of customers been asking what's the difference between Grab On Grip with another brand that's selling @ $30-$35.

Ans : QUALITY. Expensive doesn't mean its good. There're customers that have used Grab On Grip and changed to another brand, eventually came back to Grab On Grip because of QUALITY inferiority of other brand !
