Hi all,

I recently got my bike and there are 2 things that I want to know about.

1. I realise it is very hard for me to hit neutral gear and I was told by a friend that it is the problem of the clutch plate and if I want to have a easier time shifting to neutral gear, I have to change the clutch plate. So what i want to ask is how much is it to change (average)

2. My exhaust is also coming out a lot of white smoke especially when I rev, I was told I need to decarbonize(is this the word to use?), so how much is it to decarbonize it (average)

And also lastly where is a suitable place to go to?

Thanks a lot people. A newbie rider here :)

ur biting point is too near, adjust it abit further n u will hit neutral easily, damaged clutch plate when u ride it will sudden drop gear,if u dont experience it then no need to change clutch plate

If u wan oil yur cable try not to use WD40.Overtime it will turn sticky.Use those wax base type.just my 2.cent :)

Try adjust ur bitting point further. If not put to 1st gear and see if your bike moves when at clutch in. if moves meaning ur "clutch skin" finishing and you need to change. When clutch skin finish u will also experience difficulty kicking to neutral.. try go bikeworkz and do a check...
