Me loves the meter on handle too..

It made it looks more value for money as though there are more stuff to see on the bike itself which is indeed it is.

It also project a clearer view and does not looked like everything cramp into one in the meter panel.

my point of view..:cheeky:

ride safe today,ride again tomorrow

X9 is like a high-end 2B bike. Good parts with high cost maintance. I've own an X9 evo before but when i changed to Gilera '06, its good riddance to that bike!

1)Bad performance

2)Electrical system not water resistant

3)Very limited tyre selection(Michelin Gold Standard) at that time. Other alternative the tyres will get bloated all of sudden

4)Lousy windscreen(Foggy)

5) lousy exhaust pipe(rust badly)

6)rear box not practical when shut accidently and your keys are inside...

All these happened within a year. I spend more on repairs than i can enjoy riding the bike. My gilly so far no problem yet. Thank GOD!!! It's good thing they stop production coz im seeing more 2nd hand X9 in the shop lately. It shows how bad it is. There are many super 4 but you dont see alot of 2nd hand in the shop.

Hi all. Am new here. I'll be getting a bike in October. As I'll only be getting a class 2B license, this topic is very interesting to me. :cheeky:

I'll looking for biggest scooter possible within the class 2B with spacious seat and storage.

Suzuki Burgman 200 seems to fit the bill but I heard the dealer is not bringing it into Singapore. I have yet to call to confirm this. Anyway, I think the price will be quite high.

Am also considering the Gilera VXR200 Runner and the PGO Gmax 200. PGO Gmax 200 seems to have bigger storage and seems like a bigger and heavier bike than the Runner. I also read in one of the thread here that the PGO does not need coolant (sorry, newbie about engines) and also less maintenance compared to Gilera. The parts is also cheaper compared to Gilera. Can anyone comment on the durability and reliability of the PGO Gmax 200?

So, the X9 200 is not in production anymore. Well, it does seem scary the amount of maintenance required. I don't think I have that kind of time to spend going to the workshop.

Hope experience forummers here can give me some pointer on a good scooter to get cause I'll a total scooter newbie. My previous bike is a Suzuki Panther 125cc. That was years ago.

Thanks! :p

i dun think it should re established.. due to the high maintence.. plus the COE is getting higher and higher.. with the GST at 7% its hard to maintain a bike like this..

X9 is like a high-end 2B bike. Good parts with high cost maintance. I've own an X9 evo before but when i changed to Gilera '06, its good riddance to that bike!

1)Bad performance( hv to understand ur bike and input knowleadge before u buy anything than u won't be disapointed of ur bike)

2)Electrical system not water resistant. ( all the bike not perfect )

3)Very limited tyre selection(Michelin Gold Standard) at that time. Other alternative the tyres will get bloated all of sudden (no comment quite true)

4)Lousy windscreen(Foggy) (buy rainX antifog, problem slove)

5) lousy exhaust pipe(rust badly) (its made normal iron, it will sure rust spend money to make stanless steel lah.)

6)rear box not practical when shut accidently and your keys are inside...

(only if u r clumsy and forgetful, cannot blame the bike),

Note: i just got my X9 180cc secondhand, from M1 changi Rd branch (only look for royston) got many problem also but all clear, i come to understand why the bike got so many problem, but i can't comfirm now, will do a test , will to do a discussion (don't shot me ), i found out that the temperature is very high even when riding the bike in expressway, i'm going to do a bit of modding to the cooling system to lower the temp, and see if i'm right, will update on this on end january (with pics), so pls take care and ride safely.
