Hey SDR, your pocket PC GPS is pretty good

So far so good.

This is a better Garmin Que Pocket PC.

http://www.krusell.se/artnews/20050404/300/2.jpg

I am using RUSSA program and it makes you think you are travelling on "Super Sonic" bike - 1462.5km/hr.

PocketMV is another program that read Garmin map, tried it once and quite happy with it. I think it is created by a Sporean programmer. I will be supporting him soon.

All above read Garmin map, map is not so detail but easily available on the net.

GPS on Pocket PC has it limitation, I think it is best for car instead of bike, it is not a waterproof device, short battery life, screen too small, no proper mounting bracket and etc...

For bike, think best to have a real Garmin GPS device.

Yo Koma,

The 525/550 uses Plasma Ion for low beam for either model, thats the yellow beam..... don't think the boys in uniform will be too happy with those...... attracts too many insects.... :giddy:

Just got this from MCN:

October 10 2005

BMW to debut at NEC

BMW is out to steal the NEC Show in Birmingham with a world premier of a new 2006 model.

It will be shown for the first time on October 27 – to the world’s bike press. The show’s first public day is the 29th.

motorcyclenews.com is being run from the NEC Show for the duration – so we’ll bring you first pictures as they happen. We’re planning to broadcast live streaming sound and images from the show, too. You'll find us at the MCN stand in the race paddock.

“To have a world premier on the BMW Motorrad stand at the International Motorcycle and Scooter Show is going to be incredible,” said BMW Motorrad UK’s General Manager Motorcycles, Adrian Roderick.

“2005 has seen BMW Motorrad successfully launch several ‘new generation’ motorcycles, including the K1200 S, K1200 R and HP2 Enduro, as well as the R1200 RT and ST boxer twins. Our product offensive will continue to gather steam in 2006, so it will be exciting for press and public to see how BMW’s new philosophy has been developed even further when the new model is unveiled at the show.”

The BMW stand is number T283 in hall 7. Preview day is Friday 28 October and public days run from Saturday October 29 until Sunday November 6.

Ooooooooooo!!!!! Wonder what its gonna be? The F800S or the R1200S? No secrets here....

Maybe the new R1200GSADV?

Or a HP4? Now that would be a blast

Its the reflector Bro, absorbs all other and reflects only the yellow spectrum. The bulbs are H4.
