"original" ...huh? Don't understand leh.

Understand there's a Orange, Black and Blue is (s), rite?, I didn't really go into detail. They are all difference? Silver is a special version?

Personnally, I like the Orange (relatives will be damn happy if I visit them with an Orange KTM or a Red Ducati during cNY). hehehe.

I love the KTM panniers (think by H & B, looks very similiar to those found at MTEcH), :lovestruck: and this monster comes with WP USD fork, No ABS, brembo, underseat twin exhausts and & 1 crazy Ang Mo tester claims top speed of 250km/hr definitely a wow.

Lastly and most importantly is the KTM signature headlight, I think this bike is near perfect except for it's chain drive, non-tubeless rim (am I rite?) and it's seat height (tester claim he is 178cm and have to tiptoe on the lowest seat - alamak).

That's a Loads of BMW motorcycle at sentosa clove :giddy: :giddy:

KTM 950 Adv 2004 colour models were orange, black and silver

2005 models are orange and black only.

950 Adv S 2004 were blue/orange with the GO!!!!! design

2005 model doesn't come with the GO!!!!!

The model I got is a 05 model, so it doesn't come with the GO!!! logo, the 04 S model is a direct replica or duplicate design from the race model.

KTm has improved the parts of 2005 model, better clutch, wider rear wheel, new exhaust cover/protector.

Koma you are right, the panniers are the same as the one selling at Mtech, h&B gobi series.

Orange KTM go visiting don't have to bring Mandarin orange :cheeky: A bigger organge will bring loads of luck

hahaha, somehow, these panniers looks nicer with "KTM" logo and on 950. May be H & B specially design it to match the 950, it will be damn ugly & a damn big Mistake if they are fitted on my Mystic, think making 1 MYSTIC is bad enough...

Shown my wife this bike, her very 1st comments is "the seat is not comfortable, I don't want to sit on it" BUT seeing the disappointed look on my face, she then comment that the design is beautiful & unique.

Hi SDR

If you get a KTM adv, seat have to go. Tried both, gel seat are much more comfy unless you have meaty butt or ironb butt which can double up as cushion ;)

No pannier, only one rear box when I got the bike. It's so small that it can only fit my wifes' helmet n rain coats :sian: But better than nothing. Saving up for the side panniers now :lovestruck:

Some believe S version has tuned to more power than the non s version. Price of S version is slightly higher too.. hmmm... wonder what's the logic behind. Apperance wise, the only different between S and non S version is colour. Also S version has higher suspension at the front. I would have gotten a black non S version if not for this deal that came by.

That's a flashy pacificier kekeke.. BMW pacifier would be more posh tho. cyclop starts poisoning the young one from baby :help:

Actually, think the KTM seat is for show only, search the net to discover most riders are in the "standing" position. Ya, Cyclop told me about the gel seat and did check on the net & price seem to be quite reasonable. "IF" I ever get 1, will definitely change to gel seat.

May I ask how tall are you? If the Ang Mo tester claim he is 178cm + boots about 3-4cm, total 181cm and still need to tiptoe, then this bike is really high.

I am 178cm too. Think our friends Eris & Hanwoon will request for the "tallest" seat. How I envy their heights.

Found this article, before you read it, my suggestion is pls quickly cut your credit card, throw away your cheque book, break your own legs and never go down to dirtwheel, if not, you will end up riding the KTM 950 :

pitting rally monster against rally monster in a brutal off-road showdown (for those unfamiliar with motorcycle rallying, the KTM bike is a Paris-Dakar quality machine). They even brought professionals in for the piloting duties. The results are fairly expected: the KTM, being smaller and lighter with a better power-to weight ratio, won a lot of the individual head-to-head events like acceleration and slalom. But the Evo was the faster over the dirt track, due to its sheer driftability. So no one really wins, per se, but both vehicles prove to be thrilling to operate in their natural habitat.
