Hello Tazan,

didn't meant to snuff you but I thought our regular organiser ( Yeah Slut, I'm refering to you !!!! ) would address your question.

Our rides are usually short for most of us are tied up with work and family. 3D2N is about right, anything more would be stretching it. We do not like to rush from point A to B. For that, I myself will join another outfit which emphasises on the ride more than others.

We are planning to do Gerik soon, so if that tickles your fancy, keep in touch. Slutty boy (Gabes) has been arrowed to plan..... kekekeke...

Well said. I guess we all would love to do a Samui Ride soon. As long as our commitments permits the endeavour. In the mean time, its all the shorter rides but never lack of fun and its fair share of jiving and th eimpromtu picture sessions..

Last nights meet spurred on a suggested Cameron or Fraser ride as well.. Sounds nice.....

Oh yes Tarzan666,

Most of us are quite packed with our time. Work, Family etc. So Day rides are the best. :)

My 2 cents worth on time for trips ....

The fact of the matter is that for most of us, motorcycling is a passion, and a hobby. Living in Singapore invariably means that we have to balance work, play, other halves, government (i.e. NS, etc) .. more obvious examples would be the demands on our athletes, but i digress.

Amongst my frens, the bachelors have the most time, being able to take off on a whim and fancy, for a 2-nite or 3-nite trip, something that most guys with wives or kids would find difficult. I was fortunate enuff to enjoy such fishing trips, but in time we have to take into consideration of the other people in our lives.

Having said that, I agree that everyone would want to do a Thailand or Pan-malayan ride someday, myself included. I believe that it is possible, with planning, and the right company. To me touring with other motorcyclists is like playing mahjong; the company should be right, and all clicked. That really enhances the fun.

Ride safe, all.

Cheers

Don't worry mate, sun will shine when we ride.

This may sound to optimistic, but if it rain, we could enjoy the company, food, lower petrol price and fag for some

I've an interesting story to share ....

brave the rain and went for a drink last night, after all the festivity is done ..

return to my poor bike that had to seat in the rain all night,

and she won't start !!!

First tot was that Hall senor is fried, the famed dakar bike didn't even survive the Singapore monsoon rain ?!?!?!?

so I covered the baby and dragged my ass into a taxi ...

half planning how I should get my baby to Mr M-tech ???

Next morning, I call our friendly and always helpful Mr M-tech ..

we discussed and he came up with several things that could be wrong

Spend the rest of the morning, calculating all the bike stuff I will NOT be buying ..

and praying the repair won't cost too much ...

Then ..... got a sms from Mr M-tech ...

'check your side stand too'

Mmmmmmmmm:cheeky:

so we found another purpose for the cut off switch at the side stand ...

when too pissed to even kick the side stand, take taxi .....

Thanks again Chua...

A classic innovation of german engineering..... if was italian engineering (suicide stand) the bike will be on the floor. another perspective... would be you wake instantly or ya got no bike to ride home.

resulting = equivalence of german engineering.......... hahahahahaha
