For the Gentleman Rider, Me recommend the new GT:

Optional accessories include Hot Chick ( that Mr Techno Mei Mei is ever thinking of ) and adoring bystanders...... kekeke

New technology, more grunt, more handling, tighter packaging, and probably for the same $$ as the RT........ and the best thing being...... its only avail in 2007, that should give PL enough time to settle his other more important priorities.... Right Bro :thumb:

Wow, beautiful bike.

2nd look at those lovely pictures, wow, bo chia leh. shiok.

PL, long time no see, like what Suzu posted "it is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission". R1200GS or RT, hmm, looking at your signature; guess should be HP2 or K1200S or... both.

:lovestruck:

Hehe...I know I know. But at this stage of my life, got other priorities lah. I've had my fun, 'burn' a lot of money on my own passion. It's my own fault that I had to stop abruptly. Now, to be fair to wife, got to take care of things that we BOTH need/want now, instead of thinking of my own fun again.

Unless.....I strike the Toto Hongbao draw next week.... :cheeky:

hi guys..any1 of u bros uses the fuel treatment for petrol?

btw where's carmen located at?

Hi there

Carmen is located at Kallang, just opp Kallang mac. Look out for a small cafeteria at one end of the building (Sports council office) facing the road junction.

Correct me if I am wrong, Fuel treatment is for fuel injection car/bike. It's used to clear the nozzle and for better transmission..

No problem Bro, ask away, we're all here to learn.

IMHO, 98 pump gas and mineral oil has been serving my GS well. Have not tried any additive, don't think will want to. Too much chemistry goin on that might not actually give it much of a boost....... Most pump petrol already have detergent additive to clean the engine as it burns and so on. No guarenty that additive might end up having negative effect on the engine instead of enhancing it. Rather save the cash for regular preventive maintenance purposes.

I think many products in the market are just "snake oil", many claim that their products can save fuel and same time increase power. Possible? May be... if the vehicle has not been serviced for the past 20 years, fuel treatment may be useful, it may clean some dirt, allowing a better flow of petrol, thus able to "reduce fuel consumption and increase power", don't think it works on new vehicle.

So quiet here...

Topic on "U", read it even if you have something important to do, like touching others bikes without permission or counting number of lizards in your house.

Motor Oil Myths and Facts

...

Never attempt to clean the inside of your engine with one of those engine flush procedures that many shops try to sell. If you've been diligent about oil changes there will be no sludge. If there is a lot of sludge then the last thing you want to do is to dislodge it all at once.

A good article about sludge can be found at: http://www.yotarepair.com/sludge%20article.html

Dislodge? Typing error? May be disposal of sludge or slop

Guess credit should goes to Eris & Royal Purple.

170 or 1700km/hr. U sure? My GPS is 174.2km/hr (meter is 180km/hr) & I cant even see ur taillight.

Eris is worst, his is like a C130 with 10 F15 jet engines.he is really fast.
