This is cute...

This is encouraging. A Honda Cub 90 shows the Triumph Speed Triple how to overtake like a hero.

Gilera updates Runner 200

After its total revamp of the 125 and 50cc versions of the Runner last year, Gilera has updated the big 200cc Runner to the latest spec.

As well as the restyle the new VXR200 gets a totally redesigned frame and bigger wheels to massively improve the handling and two-piston disc brakes to make sure it’s got the stopping power as well.

The scooter will be available in grey and black and is in Gilera dealers now for £2,699 including a two-year warranty, one-year free roadside assistance and immobiliser as standard.

Singapore bid to stage F1 race

By Theodore Liasi

LONDON (espnstar.com) - Singapore is planning to join the Formula One fraternity in time for the 2008 FIA World Championships' according to reports.

The Today newspaper quoted Singapore's Trade and Industry minister Lim Hng Kiang who said he was examining four proposals to stage races which would be held on a street course.

"The four bids are very, very good," he said. "It shows that they take us seriously and that they want to develop a very good product in Singapore."

Spain, Greece, Russia and South Africa have also declared their interest in hosting a race from 2008, whilst Mexico and India have also expressed a desire to stage a race,

The sport's governing body, the FIA, introduced new regulations in Paris last month which gave the green light to a maximum of 20 races per season after the current Concord agreement expires next year.

This season there are 18 races on the calendar after the Belgian Grand Prix was withdrawn to give organisers more time to make improvements to the Spa circuit.

Wow, this is really a pc of art... only thing I don't like about the bike is the leather bags. Perfect if they built beetle bags like corbin... then it will be a true beauty to me.

Nice, this bike is using tubeless spokes rims... a technology developed by Honda, hmmm, don't know how long ago, guess should be late 80s.

If I can afford it, if it is available in Spore, top speed of 250km/hr, less than 200kg, less than 1000cc... I will like to own 1... kekeke...

Juz an update .... went Cameron and back over Sat / Sun. Twisties highly recommended, all 70 km of them each way. Total distance was about 1200 km.

Food was good, the steamboat was great, got normal and tom yam in partitioned steamboat. Aircon weather and great scenery. some of them Malaysian bikers were fast on their way down, very impressive.

Yo, SDR, I saw a BMW K1 that day, red livery, at Beach Road lights.

Cheers

Although it's possible to clean a carb body with soapy water and a sponge, we suggest removing the sponge before reinstallation.

From my last ride to PD, bike feel abit sluggish, adjust the f/a mixture screw and carb was splashing out petrol on high rev... no choice, dismantled it just now to "wash" it. May be I am just idiot to carb but dare to say it is a very sensitive carburetor and more complex compare to Keihin and Mikuni... retuned and tested, hehehe, bike runs smoothly... but yet to test top speed on NSH.

This is my 1st attempt after owning it for 9yrs, I discovered that Jet needle has been set to number 3...correct??? Seem too rich to me...

Some pictures below for those who are interested to know how a Bing Carb looks like inside... after 134,000km and 11yrs, jet needle looks good, no leakage on diaphragm and all O ring rubbers still as good as new...
