"different ballgame", "different feel"

but is it better? or is it something that needs time to get used to it b4 you can tell whether is it shiok-er to ride than the GS ?

How are they different, I’ll try to put it into perspective.

For the GS, being a tall bike and ungainly in looks, is a surprising agile bike. It doesn’t have massive horsepower but the new boxer pulls extremely linearly. The bike is stable at 2km/h or at 200km/h. When I hook a sweeper just right on a GS, I have found it to be more enjoyable than if I was to take the same corner on a smaller, faster, lighter sportsbike. The GS is easy to ride, and for touring and rides of more than 500km a day, one would appreciate the GS for when the rider is tired, the bike don’t throw up any surprises. However, some would call it dull, that it lacks character.

The K on the other hand, is build for fast riding. It’s steering is heavy below 20km/h but lighten up as the speed creeps upwards. It is most comfortable above 120km/h where the engine and the powerband are at their element. The pull of the engine is relentless. The ESA on this bike is just incredible. To be able to electronically modulate the preload (engine on, bike in neutral) and rebound (even when on the move) allows one to tailor the ride to suite the road condition. The new Hossack base front suspension gives a closer feel to conventional forks while still retaining the benefits of the regular paralever system, best of both worlds I guess. There is good feedback from the back end which allows me to feel the grip of my rear Pilot Power very accurately. I can with confidence, give it a little more gas to allow the rear to break away progressively in a turn….. BIG smile factor here http://www.kolobok.wrg.ru/smiles/standart/pardon.gif

Zoe was a stunner in her younger days http://www.kolobok.wrg.ru/smiles/he_and_she/parting.gif But now, quite Ah Soh leh...... Probably because the studio tried to cast her in those roles to promote the younger birdies http://www.kolobok.wrg.ru/smiles/he_and_she/tender.gif Sort of like the news caster who decided to go back to her studies and commented that the studios prefers youth over substance and maturity..... hmz... BMW bikes dun move on chain right? so does tt thing needs servicing etc...? how much will a GS cost brand new n 2nd hand?

Shaft drive, BMW says maintenance free for the shaft, reality says depend on how hard you ride and are your gear changes smooth. Regular Shaft oil replacement recommended. Brand new GS12 will set you back S$39K sans insurance, as for 2nd hand, well that will depends......... right http://dgrin.smugmug.com/photos/78323234-Ti.gif
