While I do not own the F650GS and unfortunately is unable to help you, that was in fact what I contemplated before getting my present beemer. I did a bit of research and the" inmates" at http://www.f650.com have pretty much covered everything about this bike.

Hi to all,

 

Need to ask something regarding the radio set on R1100RT.

 

Should I take out the radio if I am not using it frequently?

 

Will my batt be drain if the radio is install but not using at all?

Should not drain if it is off. I went for a ride before when an RT had a flat batt because overnight he did not switch off the radio and the static was sufficient to drain the battery.

Anyone ever failed inspection cos' of not so legal auxillary lights? I am hoping not to dismantle the lights just for inspection.

I used to know that there's a BMW showroom at Tanjong Rhu where they also sell BMW parts like jacket and handle grips...etc.

 

Is it still there? I was told they shifted.

 

Can anyone advise me on the location where I can buy BMW handle grip, and other accessories?

Hi all

Sorry to barge in with (propably ) an over repeated question but can't find anything with the search option.

The problem is the my bro's bike (GS 1100) has this loud backfire on stationary position and slightly lower when changing gear. It's rather loud and worrisome, so we were wondering what causes it.

Any help, directing to old post would be greatly appreciated.
