helo guyz.....already got my r11s....btw wanna ask few quest.....

wats ur min oil level....lets say the sight glass is round, wats ur min....quarter of the glass??? n the max level??

 

u guyz using bmc or k&n or other aftermarket air filter....

 

where the best place to install IU unit....i dun wan it to b at the handlebar or the console......can i put it at the front fork infront the suspension?? can the iu b detected if passes the erp??

CONGRATULATION.

 

yr query on oil level - think best is to read ur user manual.

 

IU unit - what about install it in 1 of ur panniers, but may hv to drill 2mm hole for the wire, use 3M double side tape to stick it. Actually, I was thinking, if it is possible to connect the 12V battery to the IU, built a switch, on it, insert the cashcard, dump it in ur pannier. Neat & nice. Do you think it works?

 

AIR FILTER - I use K & N for cost saving, for performance, I will get R1, Hayabusa or K5. kekeke. Just kidding.

 

Still find the S very sexy, you hv good taste.

Oil Level - just at mid point will do. never let it fall beyond the lowest point of the circle. Do remember to watch your oil level. Best way for me so far is when u ride home from work, put it on main stand then take your time to take off helmet gloves n other barang barang, a few mins will do. Then put on main stand, oil level shown is quite accurate. If not enough, top up very slowly in 100ml intervals but watch it carefully cos overtopping will end up with oil going into airbox.

 

Air filter - K&N is commonly used. To me, no dif.

 

IU - Most IU brackets are custom made by SKMIC and usually on the handlebar clamp. Up to your creativity if u want it to be hidden or more strategically placed.

yea wish i could met u guyz for 1st time tonite...but gotto werk nite shift la......put the IU at panniers a gd hidden place but imo wil take up space since ill be puttin fullface most times(n it really takes up almost the whole space already :( )

hmm, what about make it detachable, so when you put ur Full Face inside, dump it inside the FF, save space or what about under the seat, u hv good tot, racing bike should not hv tt stupid IU expose, it just spoil the whole design.

 

RAIN, not riding bike home so wont b going down.
