I was stopped at cte and was escorted to Sin Ming STA for inspection. Everything is fine except my rear signal light and my EndCan. Im riding a TZM. The STA found out that my EndCan was not original Becoz it doesnt have the Yamaha Chop.(refer To Pic) i told him mine is Standard But Local Yamaha EndCan. He asked me come within a next week to reinspect. That night i go borrow my friend's endcan with chop and exchange.When to JB to change to a better Rear Signal. Next day i go inspection and passed. LTA Waiting for bonus like anyhow stop people. The LTA Guy thought my bike was TZR And thought its a 1st Hand Bike which i juz bought. i was surprise with their knowledge of bikes. A Malay Uncle. maybe he was provoked by the wording "SEMAKIN DI DEPAN".

 

Then today juz receive letter and have to pay $550 total for the signal and Pipe.

Can i go Appeal? what are the chances ? i went to most shop in sg all dun have sell new yamaha end can with chop. Called HongLeong they say they dun carry 2stroke stuff anymore. Went to AhBoy , he gave me the same Standard Local Endcan. How am i going to ride my TZM now ?

How fukked up can they be, seriously. A 1st hand TZR? How stupid and pathetic can they be? I got my stock carb from a guy who i think said he has 1 original pipe and 1 local pipe. Go text him about it, 91020208. Who knows, maybe your luck is there bro.

 

If i were you, i'll take down the officers name and make a complain through email saying that their summon are based on incorrect information. I did it once, on an NEA officer though, they made him resign. I was happy.

i got both now from my friend. tomorrow going to LTA appeal. but most of my friend say sure rejected. or should go tp ? i'm new to this. >.

TP ride beside me also nvr stop me. LTA stop me. zZz

Well..

 

1) You could ask them on where to purchase this "Yamaha endcan with chop". If they do not know, means there is no possible way.

 

2) Tell them that you got that pipe when you bought it.

 

3) If you have to go to LTA to inspect, get a shop to do it for you?

 

4) Ask Totu?

 

5) Ask Hakim?

 

That's all that i can think of bro.

i already inspect after changing the end can and passed. what a hassle. becoz of chop fined $500. Super nonsense.

Their Bonus coming, so other people have to suffer. Kena Malay LTA uncle On a friday noon someore. if every LTA like this, i rather die on the road then pay compound.

The strange thing is, u passed inspection and they can still fine u. I guess it is best to follow FTW advice. Find out the name and report him. show that u have already passed inspection without any issue and see what they say. Send email is a better choice, and make sure u pen it with proper English and be professional.

Another brother here also asked me to bring the end can to the LTA engineering/ Technician side to clarify with them too. He got an endcan with yamaha marking to let go to me as well. will go Lta soon.
